Zayn's Point Of View
I hoped into my Range Rover and turned on the engine. The car came to life and I was off, driving down the long streets.
Small droplets of water landed on my windshield, and after a few minutes, it started to pour.
"Oh, that's dandy." I groaned. I kept driving down the street, and back to the hospital I was at a few days before. I turned off my car and my phone started to ring.
"Hello?"
"Zayn? Where are you, mate? The lads and I are gonna watch movies and play FIFA for the remaining of the day, didn't you say you were gonna come?" Liam asked.
Oh crap, I forgot.
"I'm sorry, mate. I have to do something and I'll be there in an hour and a half tops." I told him.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
I debated on whether or not to tell him. I don't know if he would understand or not.
But who am I kidding, it's Liam I'm talking about.
He'd understand.
"I'm gonna see this girl that I saw at the hospital the day we saw Cassie." I told him. Liam stayed silent on the other end.
I watched as the rain hit the road in front of me and create large puddles. Cars drove in them and water splashed everywhere.
"Do you know why she's in the hospital?"
"She has lung cancer. Still ongoing I think." I said. I rob ably shouldn't be telling Liam this, I don't even know if I'm telling the right thing.
"Do you want us to meet up with you at the hospital?" Liam asked.
"No, it's okay. I'll be fine, and when I get back, I'm gonna play you at FIFA." I told him, a smile creeping it's way on to my lips.
"Oh, you're on." Liam said. We exchanged goodbyes, and I hung up.
I pulled up my hood and ran out of the car into the hospital. Thank god there's no paparazzi.
I passed by the waiting room and down into the halls. I kept glancing into each of the rooms and seeing the different people who were staying at this hospital.
I walked down the long hallway, a few left and rights, and then I came across the room I was looking for.
Jade.
She was laying on top of her bed, similar to how I saw her the last time. She still had on her jacket with the hood up to cover her head. That was probably the reason. I stood outside her room, and just stared at her.
She's definitely stunning, that's for sure.
It looked like she was lost in thought, because she was staring at the wall, with her eyebrows furrowed. It was so cute.
A small smile appeared on my lips. I knocked on her door and her head whipped to my direction. She scowled and looked down at her bed. I walked in and sat at the chair that I sat at last time. Everything was the same since I came.
"What do you want?" She muttered.
"I just wanted to come back and see you." I told her. She rolled her eyes and looked the opposite direction, to where I came in.
We sat in silence. "So, your name is Jade right?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said, still not looking at me.
"I'm Zayn Malik." I told her. I expected her to scream, or do some type of fangirling, but she just started to laugh. My eyes widened.
I was not expecting that.
