You sat there in awe, not wanting to believe anything he said, but by the way he acted you knew this was all real.
"I know this sounds crazy and so unrealistic." His voice hushed. "But this is all so real."
You placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled kindly at him.
"I'll be honest, this all sounds so bizarre but I believe you."
He looked at you, his once worried eyes began to fill with hope. He leaned in and placed a kiss on your forehead. Butterflies filled your stomach.
"Thanks its kind of hard talking to anyone about it." A blush creeping up onto his cheeks. "Once I got back from the trip, I was scarred. The only other person that knew was Mabel but it didn't impact her as much as it did me." He bit down on his lip, his eyes narrowed. "She was cheerful as ever, making friends left and right while I was the weird quiet kid."
"Dipper what you've been through would scar anyone."
He only smiled.
"My parents sent me to therapy you know. They didn't understand, no one did."
You frowned. Clearly Dipper was mentally damaged and needed support, but it was saddening that no one was there for him. Well not until now that is.
"Dipper, no matter what I'm here for you. I may not understand your pain but I want to help and stay by your side."
He sat there appalled, clearly he hadn't been shown this much care before. Next thing you knew Dipper was pulling you into a tight hug.
It seemed like time stopped until Mabel stormed in with two other girls following behind.
Both you and dipper disperse and the girls just stand there giggling.
"Hey Dipper!" Mabels voice rang through the room. "Woah sorry for intruding."
Both you and Dippers face were red from embarrassment.
"Mabel, we need you help." His voice cracked, clearly still embarrassed.
"With?"
"We need to find Gideon."

Yes this chapter is very dialogue heavy but I wanted the reader to bond with dipper a little more. Plus I had a little writers block and thought I would just fill in with some stuff! Anyway thanks for readying.
