chapter 16. how was your Christmas?

Hey guys, hope you had a fab Christmas, i know i did. My mum invited Joe and his family to come and spend Christmas day with us, eee. After dinner Joe took me out to the forest edge where he sat keeping each other warm, ahhhh damn it was too cute. anyway whilst we were sat down he handed me a small box wrapped in the cutest paper. Inside was a necklace with two dragonflies forming a heart, one with a blue gem and one with red. Ah the best Christmas i've ever had. ring ring. my phone rang.
"Hey Charlie." i answered
"Hey gorgeous, how did you sleep?" Charlie answered, brushing his hands through his messy hair.
"Like a cat. Yawn."
"Ha ha."
"Im guessing your still tired." i giggled
"Yeh, come over?" Charlie asked stretching his arms out.
"Why?" I asked.
"Cus i miss you." charlie
"We only saw each other last night."
"Please." He pleaded, giving me his puppy dog eyes.
"Ugh no fair." i huffed
"Ha ha, so does that mean your coming over?" he asked, still giving me puppy dog eyes whilst sticking his bottom lip out a little, pouting which made me laugh.
"He he, yeh i guess, ill be over in a minuet." I gave in.
"Cool, ill be in the basement waiting for you." he said hanging up.

standing up i left my room and started to walk down the drive towards Charlies house.

I knocked of the front door and Charlies mum answered.

"Luna hi, Charlies down in the basement."
"Ok." i replied walking down to the basement stairs.
I walked through the door but couldnt see Charlie.
"Hey there princess." Someone said wrapping their arms around my waist, hugging me from behind.
"Ahh." i screamed, turning around. "Charlie not funny, you scared me."
"Ha ha, sorry couldnt resist." he smiled
"Couldn't resist the chance to be annoying."
"You think im annoying?" Charlie said, trying to look hurt.
"hmm, yep." i said smiling.
"Hu, im truly hurt." he said putting his hand up to his heart.
"He he." i giggled looking into his eyes. his beautiful, clear blue eyes. im not sure what came over me but the next thing i knew my lips were on charlies.
Charlie just stared at me not saying a word, he then smiled and said.
"Come on, i want to show you something." Charlie said taking my hand and leading over to the bean bags.
He pulled out a CD and put it in the CD player and pressed play when a song started to play. Charlie's beautiful voice filled the air accompanied by the lovely tune of his guitar.

*Skip to end of song*

"So what do you think?" Charlie asked carefully putting the cd back in its case.
"It's.. Amazing." I breathed. "Did you write that?"
"Hu, yeh I did. And recorded it." Charlie answered bashfully.
"Is it going in the new album?"
"No." He answered bluntly.
"Aww why not?"
"Cus me and Leo are suppose to write the songs together and we're both suppose to have a part, in this its just me. It wouldn't be fair on him." Charlie sighed.
"I'm sure you could work something out, it's too good not to." Charlie interrupted me.
"And plus, I kinda, sort of, maybe wrote this just for you." Charlie blushed.
"You, wrote a song, for me." I stammered.
"Well, yeh. It reminds me of you. Your smile, your laugh, you gorgeous eyes." Charlie smiled.
"Charlie." Was all I was able to say before my lips were seald.
Charlie locked his lips onto mine, kissing me passionately. His arms wrapped around me protectively, tracing the lines on my back.
