Thanks for all the amazing support on last chapter!! Im so glad to see you all like it❤️ This chapter for now is by far going to be way more exciting and interesting!

I run my way over to Raven Point; eyes peeled for any hatchlings on my path. I don't succeed in finding any during my race over here; so I sigh and continue to look for even a sight of a dragon. I'm sure Snotlout has found his mighty Monstrous Nightmare by now; and is just waiting to see what I happened to find.

I walk along through the woods; before almost merely falling to my death. I step back; alarmed, and look what I almost fell into. It seems as if I had stumbled on an indent in the earth, but around the size of a rather large clearing or meadow. It was surrounded by rocks and had a trickling waterfall seeping from one of the sides; landing in a pond on the far side of the cove.

I make my way down; spotting a cave from up in the woods, and hope to Thor that there is atleast a baby Nadder or even a Terrible Terror nest or something within it.

I stumble on the rocky ledge, before finally hitting the ground after what seemed like ages of slipping on moss-covered rocks.

I walk my way over to the cave; and it happens to be just a small rocky incavement in the side of the wall. I decide to look further, rather than walk out; for curiosity is my best friend.

I am clumsy as clumsy is; and I reach for the next stalagmite to use as a stand-still walking cane, but before I even get a chance to hold on, the floor crumbles beneath me and I fall 10 feet into a rocky, cold place, down below where the forest floor lay.

There is small glowworms lingering on the walls of the small cavern, and I follow their haze of greenish light. I emerge my way into a opening in the cavern, alike a small room.

I survey my surroundings, for anything could be lurking around down here. Nothing in my sights. Strange. I walk around the room; thinking I just fell myself into a death pit of my own, but a small glint of a rusty-gold colour on the wall deceives my fate just for a little longer.

I brush my hand across it; then blow off the access dust. It seems to be old viking markings left along the cave wall. I then notice that they wrap the whole wall of this circular-ish cavern room. I don't understand these markings; although the drawings don't seem that difficult to follow.

The first image shows a baby in a cradle; wrapped in a small blanket. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I take time to wipe off all the images' dust; before heading back to the second image to decipher it.

It's image shows a young boy; dragons of all kinds following behind him. As if they were his followers. I make out one word of the ancient norse symbols. Nord. Im not sure what it has to do with anything, but I keep on reading the images.

Third shows the same boy; older now, with extreme skill in swordfighting, and as a bowsman.

Fourth holds the drawings of the boy; defeating some beast.

Fifth shows the boy riding a dragon; a dragon I haven't seen in the book of dragons or anywhere in my 13 years of living on Berk. We don't ride dragons; for our ancestors said never to trust these beasts anymore that you would with your own life.

It's a legend. I suppose. Something left for the older of the island to find and fulfill the prophecy. There is words beside the last image; but not printed on the walls; rather on a sheet of paper. It's written in Norse; so i read it no problem. It reads; "The Dragonborn comes. Beware and Believe. The Dragonborn will come, sooner or later; the prophecy cannot tell."

I drop the paper on the floor; after noticing yet more things in this room. The middle of the floor has a circle carved into it. More ancient letters are carved into the stone. This time I can make out more than just one word. I can see Dragon, Centuries and Dragonborn. I still wonder what the Dragonborn is.

I turn three indents in the floor to face the circle; this pattern seems rather weird; but weren't all ancient viking prophecies?

The circle in the floor inches its way upwards; a cylinder enclosed pedestal emerging from the cave floor.

I lift the circular slab of stone off the top of the pedestal and peer inside. A small black egg sits inside. The egg is no bigger than the palm of my hand. Even a Terror Egg is bigger than this! Terror eggs are about the size of a fullgrown vikings hand.

I grab the egg; glad to at least have found one at all; and run over to the floor where I dropped the piece of paper and pick that up too; shoving it in the bag.

I know the initiation assignment requires a hatchling but I'm sure I'm not the first to bring an egg back.

"Hiccup; the initiation requires a HATCHLING! You are the first viking on BERK to bring back an egg for this assignment!" Gobber yells after I show him my rather small dragon egg. Everybody bursts out laughing; Snotlout leaning on his knees to keep himself upright. The twins are laughing; not knowing what they're laughing about. And Fishlegs sighs; glad he wasn't without a dragon, and Astrid; I can feel her staring at the back of my head in disbelief.

"I- I'm sorry Gobber." is all I muster out.

"I SHOULD BE PUTTING YOU INTO EXILE THIS SECOND; but since your father wouldn't approve of the heir to be exiled no older than 13; I am giving you the two weeks to train this little fella. If it doesn't hatch in these next two weeks; exile will be a 'nocking at your door." Gobber booms; pressing his finger into my chest.

I race out of the Arena; heading towards the Great Hall for the Book of Dragons and other things. One word has moulded itself to shape my mind. Dragonborn.

even though i stationed the idea of the dragon born here, it MAY change in future chapters, bewared incase it confuses you, but i will mention the changes:)
