Split Up.

      I wake up with an idea... And a soft furred weasel. He of course gave me the idea of trying to turn all the 'rule breakers' into rodents. He shifts in my hair softly. Lil sits up and looks at me I can see her out of the corner of my right eye. "Where's me brother Tessie?" She asks in a yawn. I slide my left hand up and touch the mass of fur with my index finger. Danny lifts his head and looks at his sister with wide eyes. Her eyes widen at the sight of the weasel. I sit up as Danny crawls on my stomach.

"Pierce did it." I growl looking at the cells bars. "But we need to get out of here." I say changing the subject. Lil nods but looks at me questioningly.

"How are we gonna do it Tessie?" She asks cocking her head to the left. I smile slyly.

"Well," I begin looking at Danny, "I plan on turning all the kids into mice... And I will be a diversion." I say softly. Danny squeaks in protest. I wonder why? "Lil you will take the third floor Danny you take the middle floor and--" our cell opens revealing Diana. Lil gets to her feet and gets into a defence stance. I twist to the right and grab Lil's pant leg. Diana drops a messenger bag.

"What is it lass?" She asks her eyes softening as she looks at me. I signal for Diana to come in and shut the cell. She nods and does so.

"She's with us. Diana, I will turn you and Lil into weasels like Danny and then I will turn all the teens into mice. Before I do I need Diana on the first floor, Danny on the second, and Lil on the third. At that time you will be weasels then I will cause a problem and at the same time I will turn kids into mice they should pour out of the cells. You three will lead them out the front door." I say quickly.

"And if you get caught?" Diana asks. White hair falls from under her hat. She's as young as me but why does she have white hair?

"I'll escape." I say with a small shrug. She shakes her head in thought. A question comes to mind.

"How did you get into the order?" I blurt out. Diana looks at me her eyes glazing with hollowness.

"I... I cooperated with them. If they asked me a question I answered." She answers staring at a wall. So if you were cooperative you got in. "Oh and I brought a pair of clothes for each of you for Daniel I stole a pair of my brothers." She says with a smirk. I sigh.

"Shall we start?" I ask standing up. I feel Danny climbing up my pant leg I reach down and pick him up.

'Please be careful. ' he says telepathically. I give him a warm smile.

'I will. Oh and tell the others... At the main exit there will be a barrier. Those who are animals' when you pass it you will turn human those who are not will turn to animals. ' I reply Danny nods and thinks to the others. I can tell, for he is still for a minute.

'How do you know it will work?' He questions curiously.

'I have a strong feeling .' my heart pounds. Diana opens her mouth to speak, I drift my attention to her.

"After you get out I'll give you your clothes." She says I stand and have Diana open the cell just a crack. At least I didn't feel drained anymore. I remember the chant and place Lil and Diana in my mind, then I close my eyes.

"Slips through cracks in the night.
But it's to fast for morning light.
How does this rodent thrive?
It simply takes a small dive."

      I chant it softly. I look down and see a dark brown weasel. Danny. A golden brown weasel. Lil. And a white one. Diana. I smile. "Danny when you are all ready signal me." He Bob's his head in understanding. "Go now." Danny pauses for a minute. I shoo him off. He rushes out a little to fast for me to say something.  After a moment I feel nervous.

'We're in position mate.' Danny's voice is soft but full of worry. I can tell he'll be watching me. I imagine all the teens as mice and a barrier at the entrance. I feel frail and weak, but I force myself to open the cell and run. I hear small squeaks as Diana quickly leads the mice to the door.

"Escapee! Get her!" A guard yells. I spot a brown weasel leading the mice kids to the entrance. Diana passes through and turns human. So do the many kids who are completely freaked. Diana signals them to run to the gate, they all listen. I dodge all the men. One grabs my pink shirt and throws me into a cement wall. I hit it head first, my vision blurs slightly, but I can see a blonde weasel rushing to push her brother to the door. Danny walks through the door and a white haired teen takes his place. I can tell it's Danny because of his electric blue eyes. I smile weakly. Soon everyone is out and the guards realize everything. They rush to the door, and when they walk through it they they turn into rats. I pull the barrier down and stand up. My legs lead me to the door. When I get out all the teens are gone... Even Danny, then I understand why. I pick up the sound of bomb sirens. I gain enough strength to run, so I do. I reach the gate and run through the abandoned streets, suddenly the ground beneath me shakes. Then I get thrown to the left as a bomb strikes the ground. Glass falls and cuts through my blue pajama pants and my skin, also my cheeks and arms.

"Bloody hell!" I hiss in pain. I stand up again weakly and start to walk. Every step was painful and my head was spinning. I would listen for the familiar whistle of a bomb, but there is nothing more. I trip from exhaustion. As and dust covers me the cuts on my cheeks feel as if salt was dumped on them. I crawl into a ruined building, my heart was heavy. "Mom, dad, Blake." I say tears lacing my eyes. I felt hollow and lost. Danny and Lil left me alone along with Diana, why was I always alone.

'Don't give up Tess. Get up.' My brothers voice says calmly, but I still felt lost.

'Blake I'm lost.' I cry in my head.

'I know just get up, okay?' He says reassuringly. I stand up wincing as the cuts sting and cry at me telling me to sit back down. I hear distant voices.

'Tessa run!' My mom yells I do as told, ignoring the stinging sensation. Memories flash in my mind. How cruel Danny had been, Lil and how sweet she was, and Pierce... Bleck! My sides heaved with effort. And soon the voices were gone. I collapse in front of a large building. Olatin Hotel, a sign says above me.

'You're alright now we love you. And electric misses you.'  Blake says softly then their presence is gone. I feel warm tears streaming from my eyes. I was alone again and what did Blake mean by 'electric'? I hang my head.

"Tessa?" An all to familiar voice calls. I lift my head quickly. I see a white haired teen dressed in a black jacket with grey lines down the arms and sides, with matching black jeans. He's wearing black DC's, a belt and gloves with the fingers cut off.

"Danny?" I ask getting up, tears were still rushing down my cheeks. Danny steps forward. I gather the rest of my strength and run to him, when I reach him I wrap my arms around his neck in a hug. He wraps his arms around my waist and hugs me back. "I'm so sorry." I mutter sadly. He pulls back.

"Sorry? For what?" He asks softly like a friend would when you do something oblivious.

"For worrying you." I say looking down.

"Aye if anyone should be sorry it's me mate. I left you." He says lifting my head. He lets go and wipes my tears away. "Anyway let's go get you cleaned up. You look like you've been wrestling with an angry boar mate." He says grabbing my hand and leading me into the large building.

"Thank you Danny boy."  I whisper under my breath.
