I picked up my laptop and opened it. My mom's face showed on my screen. I looked at the picture for a couple seconds. I slammed my laptop lid and shove it away from me. I lay down on my bed and look up at the ceiling. I close my eyes. A tear comes down my face. I open my eyes and see two little hand prints on the ceiling. I get up and touch the prints. Movement comes from under my bed. I jump a little and quickly kneel on my bed. I slowly look down under my bed. I see a dark figure under my bed. It crawls towards me.
"ROSS! DAD!" I scream at the top of my lungs. The figure grabs my arm and pulls my arm. I'm under my bed now. The figure creeps it's ice cold hand on my mouth. I hear Ross and my dad run upstairs. I see them run inside. Ross looks under the bed.
"Taylor!" He looks at the figure. He starts to back away, but the figure grabs his leg and pulls him under. I blink and we are all in Rydel's room. What the hell? I stand up and see that Ross is gone.
"Ross?!" I quickly look around the room. I open the closet and the figure is there. I run to the door and try to open it. Shit it's locked I thought in my head.
"Hey do you want to play a game?" says the figure.
"No, I don't." I said back to the figure. The figure's head cocked like a puppy would if it's trying to understand you. It was dripping with water and mud. It is right next to me now. It touches my face with it's cold hand.
"Where is Ross at?" The figure snaps. Ross appears with a knife. He steps forward.
"Are you okay, Taylor?" He asks me.
"Why do you have a knife?" He looks at it.
"I don't know." The figure flies into him. His eyes go black.
"Ross!" I start to run to him. A burst of wind rushes from his right hand and I fly back into my bedroom wall. I slowly close my eyes.
