*Dans POV*

Today's the day I fly out to America with (Y/N) to see her sick mother. The trip where me and (y/n) would share a hotel room and spend three whole days together.

I was beyond ecstatic.

When I told Phil he wasn't the happiest but once I told him about her mother and how sick she was he understood that I needed to be there for her.

Me and (y/n) discussed the plans the night of the coffee shop. We'd be flying to Michigan, the state she grew up in, then we'd fly back to London three days later. Early in the mornings we'd visit her mother in the hospital then the rest of the day we'd have time to do what we wanted.

It was now Friday afternoon and I was driving to (Y/N)'s to pick her up and drive us to the airport. Our flight starts at seven and it was  five now, so we needed to be there around six because we have to go through security and all that lame stuff.

-

Once I arrived at her flat, I quickly ran up the stairs to her door, anxious to get to the airport, and knocked on her door.

"HIII" she yelled, excitement lacing her voice as she immediately opened the door.

"Hi" I smiled, her good mood rubbing off on me.

I examined her as she stood in her doorway, holding her rolly suitcase in her hands. She was wearing an oversized jumper, black leggings, and converse hightops.

"Like what you see?" She questioned with a smirk, raising her eyebrow at me.

"Wha--OH--YEAH--I mean NO--I mean what" I slightly blushed stumbling on my words realizing she noticed I was checking her out.

"I'm only joking Dan, I mean I know I'm hot but I'm joking."

"Yeah I knew that" I slightly laughed, rubbing the back of my neck.

"We should probably start heading to the airport now"

"Sounds coolio" she giggled.

"Coolio?" I questioned as I took her suit case for her and rolling it to the car, setting it in the trunk as she got in the passenger seat of my car.

I shut the trunk, walking over to the driver door and opening it as I sat inside.

"Yes, do you have a problem with my choice of word" she giggled once again.

Damn she really was in a good mood.

"No problem here, but Anyways" I rolled my eyes jokingly.

"Are you excited?" I asked, now starting my car.

"YES IM SO SO SO EXCITED" she smiled.

I smiled back at her, never wanting hers to disappear.

-

Most of the car ride consisted of pointless conversation and lots of music. We mostly listened to MCR, Panic!, TOP,  and the slight exception of Halsey.

In the times where we weren't talking I would constantly look over to her. She was so interesting, I don't know why but she was so different from anyone I've ever met and I loved that about her.

Maybe it was the way she quietly hummed the songs and bobbed her head to the beat or the way her eyes glow when she got excited..or maybe it was just her.

After awhile I think she wore herself out. She had fell asleep when we had ten minutes left of driving, her head resting gently on the car door.

She looked so perfect as her chest slowly moved up and down, matching her breathing and how her eyes laid peacefully shut.

God she's perfect.

Some people would think I was in love with her if I told them these things but to be honest I think I was.

It may be too soon to say But the way I feel around her is something I've never experienced before. Not with Phil, not with my other girlfriends, with no one.

She was like a drug that I couldn't get enough of. She was so damn addicting and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it.

Seeing her cry in the coffee shop pained me more than I could've imagined. It was like each tear that rolled down her beautiful face was a punch to the stomach. Seeing her in pain was the worst thing I've ever experienced.

that's when I think I realized (Y/F/N) was more than just a coffee girl.
