Right There

It's been 9 months since Ryan died and I'm done grieving I've been through a lot of therapy sessions and I'm finally in a really happy place and I'm going to focus on me and Jett...Who is turning one today and I'm throwing him a party in my dads back yard this afternoon.

I walked downstairs with Jett "give me my grandson" my dad said taking Jett and tossing him in the air "daddy thank you so much for helping me with Jett's party"I say "No problem baby girl you know how I work, only the best for my family"my dad said "I love you daddy, I just love my family so much"I said, and it feels weird I haven't told my dad I loved him since I was 6, Ryan dying made me realize I could lose any of my family at any time and I don't want that "I love you too baby girl...and I really love you"my dad said to me and then Jett while tickling him and I take him upstairs to get dressed.

Later on was the party and it was the cutest little circus party we had a clown, an acrobat, we even had animals that are in the circus like a lion and some elephants "You guys really went all out for someone that's one"Hakeem said and I just laughed "oh my gosh is that a giant bouncy house" Hakeem said smiling "You want to jump in it don't you"I said smiling "Girl no I'm like 20 years old why would I want to"He said "okayy"I said "hold my shoes"Hakeem said hanging me shoes and running and jumping in.

The party was fun and Jett got a lot of gifts and finally the party was over and I was just laying in my bed playing with Jett then my dad came in "He Nessa I have someone to sing on your song Right there"My dad said "it's not a duet" I reply "it could be, I'll have him in the studio when you come in the morning to record" my dad says walking out.

The next morning and the guy my dad picked was this new artist he signed "Nessa this is Sean Anderson...Sean this is my daughter Vanessa and my grandson Jett" My dad said and I shook Sean's hand and I couldn't stop staring at him he was so cute "you wanna  practice this song before we record it since we've never done it together" Sean asked "um sure"I say giving my dad Jett "I'll leave you two in here to practice and text me when you guys are ready to record" My dad said as he left and we started on the song
