Chapter 8

[Sierra's POV]

I woke up from apex shaking me and telling me to wake up.
"what time is it?" I ask him groggily
"8" he responds
"damn it's too early"
"actually Sierra it's night time"
I quickly looked at my phone and I was confused and surprised at how I slept that long. I looked over at apex and he was looking at me very concerned.
"what's wrong? why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned him.
"you just look horrible and so sick. how do you feel?" he came over and put his hand on my forehead and immediately said that I was burning. I kept telling him I was fine, which I felt a little bet but not by that much, but unfortunately he wasn't buying it.
He got me an ice pack, insisted I laid down and do nothing, while he made me some soup and put on Greys Anatomy for me. I'm so lucky I thought to myself.

The next morning...
I actually got a goodnights sleep and I felt really better. I sat up and didn't see apex.
"apex..?" I yelled, no answer. I checked my phone and didn't see any messages. I walked into the kitchen to get and apple when I saw a plate with toast, eggs and bacon on it with a iced coffee from Starbucks. I smiled as I picked up the note,
Dear beautiful,
     Good morning Sierra. I made you breakfast because I had to leave for a meeting but I tried my hardest to cook and I hope you enjoy and feel better. Text me when you wake up so I know you see it. And I wanna see you and hopefully hang out somewhere if you feel up to it. If not Netflix sounds great:)

I smiled to myself as I ate the breakfast he mad me which surprisingly wasn't that bad. after I was finished I grabbed my phone to text him and just said good morning and thank you. I didn't get a text back right away so I hopped in the shower and got ready for the day.

A couple hours later...
Apex and I went to the park to just walk around and talk. I started feeling lightheaded and nauseous so we sat down on the swings for a little bit. After a couple minutes I said I was fine and he helped me but as soon as I got up I collapsed to the floor and my vision went black. The last thing I remember was apex screaming my name and flashing lights.

[Apexs POV]

I was sitting in the hospital waiting room freaking out. I called rain and he said he was on his way. I don't know what happened she was fine and she looked fine and then she collapsed and I got really scared. I hope she's okay.
Rain arrives and calms me down a little but I still can't stop worrying. we were waiting for 30 minutes before a doctor came out to talk to us.
"Sierra Carson?"
"yes is everything okay" rain and I both stand up.
