Chapter 9

[Apexs POV]
"she's doing fine she just passed out because she has a brain tumor and it's growing rapidly so we need to operate as soon as possible. I'll get Dr. Shepard so you can talk to him about the operation." the doctor explained to me and quickly walked away.
I looked at rain and he looked concerned and told me everything was going to be alright.
About five minutes later a doctor in dark blue scrubs came up to us and introduced himself as Doctor Shepard. He explained that it was a very simple operation and they caught the tumor just in time. but there was a little catch. He told Rain and I that Sierra would be awake during the surgery since it's close to important parts of the brain. That part got me a little scared but Rain and Shepard assured me she wouldn't feel a thing and he quickest they could get her into surgery was tomorrow.
I asked if I could see her and he stared to lead me and rain into Sierras room
When we walked in and she was still asleep but was stirring.
I walked over to her bed, picked up her hang and kissed it gently. rain stood behind me and observed Sierra. she looked at me with sleepy eyes and gave me a half smile.
" hey how are you feeling"
"I'm fine how are you"
"I'm good"
we got interrupted by dr. Shepard and he stood on the other side buy the bedside and explained to her the surgery she would be having. she looked kinda scared but I know she would be brave. Sierra agreed to the surgery and after we were alone I talked to her about how I was so scared and how everything was gonna be alright. and when we get out she's going to be treated like royalty and we're gonna do anything she wants.
-skip to surgery-
Sierra and I said our see you soon's and I wished her good luck and I kissed her cheek and told her everything would be okay. they rolled her off to the OR and I sat back down in the waiting room
-after surgery-
it's been about three hours when I see dr. Shepard walking down the hall. I stand up and he says
"the surgery went.."
