Chapter 7

[Adapt's POV]

After I left apexs room I texted Sierra to see where she was. She responded quickly and said she was in the living room watching Netflix. I replied asking her to meet me in my room because we had to talk.

When she arrived she asked what's up and i told her to take a seat.

"Look Sierra i dont really know how to say this so im just gona come out and ask you, do you love apex becayse and its kinda ovbious and i hate playing Nancy Drew here."

She looked surprised at my question and then before i could finish my apolgy she blurted out,

"yes of course i love him, hes my boyfriend. but just between you and i, ive had feelings for him ever since we met, i just wasnt brave enough to tell him because i didnt want to scare him off."

"awh thats great im so happy for you two, y'all perfect"

"thank you, has he said anything to you though? like about me?" I wanted to tell her but i just couldnt do that to my bro, so i lied,

"nope not a word."

"well thats good i guess i dont know. anyways is he up, i just got back and i want to see him"

"yeah hes in his room. i dont know if hes awake he worked hard at the gym today." i lied again. and with that she said good talk and exited my room up the stairs to the little guy, while i drifted off the sleep.

[Sierra's POV]

As i walked up the stairs to see apex after all day with my friend i wondered why adapt asked me those questions, and why i told him the truth. wow he was just really easy to talk to.

i knocked on his door, no answer. one more knock, this time with a little more force, still no answer so i turned the knob and walked in the room to see a sleeping apex. i decided not to disturb him and just wrote him a note and tapped it to his forehead so he wouldnt miss it when he woke up. I walked out the FaZe house and quickly drove home and fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning...

I woke up to my phone buzzing like crazy. I rolled over and looked at it. I saw that I had missed called and a whole bunch of texts from the FaZe guys, as I looked at the time I realized I slept almost all day because it was already 4pm. All the guys were calling me, texting and leaving voicemails asking where I was. I responded to all them saying I was fine and I just slept a long time.

After responding to over a hundred texts, I get up and grab a pop-tart after I let my dog outside. I get ready because I invited apex over to just hangout. After I'm ready I quickly tidy up my place a little bit.

When apex arrives we decide to order Chinese food and watch some Netflix. I changed into a hoodie with my adidas pants because I wasn't feeling too good and I wanted to be comfortable. What I loved most about apex is that he would watch anything that I picked. So obviously I had to choose my two favorite shows, Orange is the New Black and Greys Anatomy . We watched a couple episodes of each when I really started to feel sick and like I was going to die. I told apex earlier that is was just a little stomach ache and I just needed to eat but now it was more than just that. I started to feel like I couldn't breathe. I told apex everything and he was starting to get worried but I told him it was nothing and I was fine. I was holding his hand and whenever a wave of pain came I squeezed his hand as hard as I could, but I started feeling bad so I let go but he insisted that I keep holding it.

4am...

I still couldnt sleep. I felt so sick and i didnt know why. Apex was sleeping and i didnt want to bother him because he looked so cute sleeping but i couldnt help it.

"Apex?" i whispered while i slightly shook him. He stirred but didnt wake up.

"Apex?" i said louder this time with a more forced shake.

"Whats wrong im up?'' He jolted up and looked at me. i told him everything that was wrong again but it was a thousand times worse. He could see how much pain i was in, got up and got me some pain killers and some blue gartorade. i thanked him alot while we laid back down together and i fell into a deep sleep.
