I saw a Humming Bird
Drifting from tree to tree
She said three words
And begged on her knees.
Now she lies,
Blank walls blocking
The things she hides
Her strength is slowly rocking.
Now that Humming bird
From tree to tree
Reacts from what she heard
Thinks anger is the way to be.
A Red Bird caught her eye
And the vise versa happened.
I frowned and started to cry
Wondering what it was I lacked in.
But I turned to the red bird smiling,
Told her to think of her heart,
little did she know the sparrow was lying,
The Humming bird left her mark.
A Sparrow saw a Humming bird
Drifting from tree to tree.
Never thought it would be her,
Never thought it would be me.
