She & Me (On Hold)

Part VIII

I just put the keys in my Ferrari and gave life in it. After the shopping session for the cousin of Nandini we started our real date for the day.

"So where are we going?" She asked me while sitting in my car.

I smirked and said "There is a word called SURPRISE in the dictionary I think.."

Without a delay I pressed the gas and off we go...

I thought of of many different things to make this date a good one, but after many things and knowing a little about her I thought that maybe simple things will make her happy.

The sun was setting with the golden beautiful rays. The light made her hair sparkle more and her beauty became more elegant in the light. I was mesmerised by her beauty. Her dark brown eyes were sparkling in the reddish light of the sun. The lights were making her more elegant and beautiful. And throughout the whole drive I was bewitched by her beauty. We didn't spoke but the silence between us was not the uncomfortable one but it is pleasant. Soon we reached our destination.

Reaching the place we parked in front of a big building. I got off the driver's seat and rushed to open the passenger side. I reached out my hand to help her and she took my hand willingly.

"Why are we here? Do you think they will Let us in?" She was having doubts as we were in a very classy and big building which normally doesn't allowed unknown or unimportant persons.

In response I nodded to her question and went to the big door made of beautiful glass and decoration in it.

I slipped a 20 dollar bill into the hand of the guard and told him to give me the thing I wanted. He handed me a platinum card and told me the right elevator as per my requirement.

"What was that? Where are we going?" She asked me with the curious look in her eyes. I just smiled with the hint of surprise look in my eyes...

We got inside the building. It was huge from the inside as well. There was a big reception with employees greeting the guests with there best business smiles on their faces. In the middle of the hallway was a big sculpture. With beautiful decorations and lights. There were several elevators too. And while we were approaching our destined elevator everyone was watching us as we were the the most young guests of the place. I took her hand while she was looking at the whole place with awe in her eyes. We stood in front of the elevator I wanted to take.

I pressed the elevator keys and as soon the elevator came I helped Nandini to step into it.

Through out the ride we were silent and utterly nervous. Soon breaking our silence the elevator door opened with the sound of a being and we were in the roof of the building.

The night light of the city was like the Galaxy of lights.

In the middle of the roof was a round table with candles. In the said there were three musicians playing beautiful music and near the table was the waiter for us. But I already planned and organised our dinner so there was no rush for us to order or anything. I even asked the hotel manager to decorate the whole roof with candles and flowers. As per my request he organised the whole terrace.

"It's beautiful Jess" She could say only this. And I was glad that I made her happy.

"Come" I stretched my hand towards her and took her need the edge of the roof. There was a hint of red light in the sky as the night was coming down to his the city.. I stood behind her and we looked at the city with the awe.

The sweet breeze was pleasant. Wrapping both of us in the beautiful feeling. I was so close to her that I could smell her scent. Her smell was like the caramel. I loved caramel.
