Walking into school- well crutching. Blake was really beginning to hate these crutches, not only did they leave her arms sore, it made it virtually impossible to carry a backpack.

"Blake, wait up!" She heard Lucas call out from behind her as she turned around and saw him jogging up to her.

"Hey, Lucas" She tried to smile but her frustration was getting the best of her. Laughing at the girl Lucas grabbed her bag off of her shoulder.

"Oh, Lucas you don't have to-"

"I'm doing it, we're friends right?"

"Yeah we are." She smiled.

They walked over to her locker, where Riley and Maya were waiting for her.

"Lucas, hello" RIley said in a grown up voice?

Blake chuckled and moved to open her locker, Lucas took out her History, Math, and English book and held out the bag for her to put away.

"Hey Riley, Maya" He said smiling at the girls.

"Howdy Huckleberry" Maya said in an exaggerated country accent. Laughing Blake shut her locker and went to grab her books from Lucas, but he just shook his head and walked of to Mr. Matthews class as Blake groaned and grabbed her crutches.

"Blake! How're you feeling? How's your ankle? Do you want a pillow, because I uh I brought a pillow." He nervously chuckled and waved his hands as he gestured to the pillow.

"I thought we told you to leave the pillow!" Maya told Cory.

Blake laughed and walked over to her seat. "Guys I'm totally fine. In fact I don't even miss dancing." She told them as they all exchanged worried glances.

"Stop making those faces." Blake said without even looking up at them. And they all took their seats as Cory started class.

"Ancient Greece," Cory began his lesson.

"What's that? What's that that?" Riley asked, pointing to the box in his hands.

"What this? This is a present." Cory answered.

"Is it for me?" She asked. Blake silently laughed and shook her head as she knew how this was going to play out.

"What's your game, Matthews?" Maya asked.

"Game? I mean no game. I just want to know who here wants this present." Cory said.

Everyone in the class raised their hands. Except for Maya.

"Oh, Maya, what? You assume by playing hard to get, I'm gonna give it to one of you two?" Cory asked.

"Well, yes." Maya replied. "That's one of the many arrows in our quiver." She added.

Blake heard Farkle shudder from behind her, if that was even possible.

"Medieval talk. What are you doing to me, woman?" Farkle asked her. Blake rolled her eyes and turned back to the front of the room.

"Riley." Cory said, placing the present of her desk.

"Yay!" The girl cheered. She opened the box. The smile on her face fell, and she raised a plaque.

"The trojan horse"?" Riley read from the plaque in a questionable way, as she turned and glared at Cory.

"Surprise." He said, while doing jazz hands.
