Hey my loves,
Sorry for the wait!
Here's a all new original chapter 🌸
KCIt's been awhile since Blake had some down time to herself. But with the recent discovery of Isabella and her father's relationship, Blake couldn't help the shaky feeling in her stomach. Sighing, she rose up in her bed and leaned her back against her backboard. Checking the time she noted that it was only 4:15 AM. She didn't have to leave until 8, she reached for her phone; and contemplated calling Lucas, but deciding against it considering the time and the fact that he has a huge math midterm. She was so glad she took Algebra last semester.
She picked her laptop up from her nightstand and began to watch old videos of her mom performances. Blake watched the videos over and over and she never seems to get tired of them. Losing her mom at such a young age she never truly got the chance to have a true mother figure in her life. Which is why she valued Isabella so much, and she's beginning to think she lost her.
She called one of the people she knew wakes up this early regardless of the day.
"Hey, I- I'm sorry to bother you, but-" Blake started,
"I'll be there in forty minutes."
Smiling Blake quickly jumped out of bed and into her bathroom to take a shower. After showing she dried off, moisturized, applied deodorant, and threw on her outfit. Which consisted of a black V-neck bodysuit and red/black/white flannel, light high waisted blue skinny jeans she folded at her ankles and her brown booties. She added a black choker, her mother's locket, and she proceeded to apply some waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
Now for her hair, she sat and her vanity and looked at herself. Her hair has recently began to be a little difficult to maintain. She decided to grab some Shea Butter curl activator and rub it in her hair and let it go wild. Looking at her reflection, she began to see how much she's changed. Her eyes are what she noticed the most, they're so dim, so hollow. The longer she looked at her reflection the more lost she felt. In that moment all she wanted to do was speak to Lucas. But the rational part of her brain told her how needy she must seem to him.
Hearing a car pull up she grabbed her backpack and headed downstairs quietly. She left a note on the counter saying she's gotten a ride from the Matthews.

"Thank you for coming, I couldn't sleep." Blake said as she buckled her seatbelt and looked up at Topanga.
Topanga softly smiled at Blake and rubbed the curl haired girl face, "Anytime honey, I'm always here for you."
Blake's mom Stephanie and Topanga were the best of friends. They meet towards the ending of their freshman year of college, and hit it off. They never lost contact and having their girls grow up together was the best thing. Each being the godmother to their child. Every time Topanga think of her late best friend she can't help, but feel guilty. Guilty because she knows that Blake is struggling and she doesn't know what to do. Topanga knows everything about her and know when she truly needs her support. She tries to watch out for Blake as much as she can without making her feel like she's suffocating her. As Blake is prone to pushing people away. Topanga can easily see through Blake's facade and try and help as much as possible.
Arriving to the Matthews residence Blake dropped her bag and made sure only herself and Topanga were present. She dropped her bag and headed straight for the kitchen which she could tell Topanga was as she saw a lot of paperwork on the table. Blake went straight for the refrigerator and grabbed the bowl of strawberries and whipped cream.
"Sorry for the mess, If I-" Topanga stopped mid sentence as she saw Blake with whipped cream all over her mouth.
Laughing she grabbed a paper towel and held Blake's chin and began to wiped it of, "Old habits die hard, huh?"
