Chapter 19 Mason's mind

Chapter 19

Ally P.O.V

"Aww look at the cute couple," Trevor said in a fake girly voice, as Chris and I made our way to the lunch table.

I giggled and shook my head at him taking my seat across from him at the table and Chris taking a seat on my left. Today people had been making those comments a lot more than usual; it seemed that everyone could just pick up on our new energy. I didn't mind the comments much, because I really liked Chris and so people knowing didn't really change anything.

"So who popped the question?" Alison asked, taking a seat on my left at the table.

"What question...?" I asked in confusion.

"Who asked who out Al's," She chuckled.

"I kind of did..." I mumbled, feeling heat creep up my neck.

"AWWW this is such a cute love story... Well kind of, you guys haven't said I love you yet," She thought out loud.

The thought of Chris potentially saying those words to me seemed possibly crazy. We'd known each other for years, but half that time was spent with me trying to ignore him and not even giving him a chance. Now that things were beginning to change, I saw things in a different light. The way I acted with Mason wasn't as genuine as it is with Chris. With Mason I had to be someone else and dress like someone else to get his attention, but with Chris I was just me. He saw me through everything and even when I was so stupidly clinging onto Mason, he was right there to make sure I was always okay.

"Well if you all wouldn't mind; I'll be taking Ally off campus for better lunch." Chris chuckled, pushing his lunch tray to the middle of the table and standing up reaching a hand out for me to take.

I smiled, pushing my tray to the middle of the table too, knowing one of the boys would probably end up taking the food, and said a quick goodbye to Alison, before taking Chris' hand and following him out of the loud lunch room. In the background I swear I could hear Alison shout something after us about behaving, but I couldn't really make it out through all the noise.

"So, where to sir Chris?" I giggled, as we made our way down the quiet school hallway

"I was thinking of just going to the café nearby for lunch, since you're practically obsessed with any kind of caffeine." He chuckled.

"Well we better hurry then; lunch is over in 20 minutes."

MASON P.O.V

"What were you thinking?! Have your mother and I not taught you better than that son! We are getting sued from probably the richest family in the area, all because you couldn't be the man we raised you to be! You know that women are not objects to toy around with and yet you RAPED a girl! You could end up facing jail time and you being 17 at the time won't matter; that was not consensual and there was a witness!" My father screamed, while passing across our living room, the papers from Ally's parents crumpling in his hands as he waved them around.

"I'm so disappointed in you..." was all my mother had to say, before she'd walked out of the room earlier.

Honestly I didn't believe it when the papers came in the mail; I thought Ally would have been too scared to even open her mouth and tell anyone what happened that day, but I was apparently wrong. The night of the party I didn't really see any consequences about what I did to that girl, because she seemed to be the least wealthy and least likely to talk in the circle of friends that we hung out with. But now they'd all left my side for hers and now I was stuck in a lawsuit that could ruin my future. I had to find a way to make this go away and the only way to do that was to pick up and start over or to get rid of Ally.

As my dad continued screaming about my morals as a young man and all that crap, I weighed the options of either getting rid of Ally -which proved to be the most difficult way of fixing things- or just to simply move change my name and start a new life where I wouldn't go to jail.

I even cut into Mason's mind a bit, so you guys can see what's happening on the dark side.

So this month I will be part of the Wattpad Block Party summer addition again and decided to try and post a new chapter of the book until it's finished for you all (the book will be concluding this month)

So I hope you all stick with me for the ending of this series and soon we will have one of my new stories making it's debut and I will be finishing I Crashed into Austin Mahone, to begin another story.
