Ally P.O.V
I sat hunched in an uncomfortable ball in a small cave, watching as Masons' feet paced in front of me. When I made my dash out of the woods earlier, he had been hot on my heels until I found this little thing to hide in. Though I could see Masons feet as he trudged from side to side, before disappearing into the woods away from my hiding spot, I was still afraid to make a sound.
"Ally I swear if you don't get out here right now I'll kill your lover boy!" I heard him scream as he went farther into the woods. My body and mind couldn't make the connection as to what to do. The sun had gone down by now and I could barely make any part of this forest out anymore.
Shakily, I unrolled myself and pushed open the leaves that were hiding me from Mason and crawled out into the open. Still painfully aware that Mason was nearby, I stood and began creeping away toward where I assumed the exit of this forest was. The forest looked terrifying tonight, just like a horror movie. The unfortunate reality of the situation was that I was playing a horrid featured role of the intended victim.
"I'd stop walking if I were you," Mason's voice sickly low voice filled my ears, causing a tremor of fear to run down my spine.
Closing my eyes in fear, I did a 180 and held my breath waiting for what was to come next. The sound of his gun was the only thing I could hear, before a searing pain erupted in my shoulder. Opening my eyes and seeing Mason lying on the dirt ground cradling his knee in pain, as a police officer approached us, was possibly the best thing I'd seen in my entire life. Holding my arm as the officer cuffed Mason, I felt a sense of weights being lifted off my shoulders.
"Marc, help the young lady out of here while I read this one his rights." The police officer said as another appeared on sight. The man nodded and came to my side, escorting me out of the dark and confusing woods.

As the police men made their way out of the woods with Mason handcuffed, a sense of relief filled me. I looked at Ally sitting on the side of an ambulance her armed wrapped tightly in gauze and sitting going over to her side. As she looked up at me a smile so bright lit up her face, making mine light up in response. I sighed, taking her hand upon reaching the ambulance and leading her to my car. Alison had left once we knew she was okay and I promised to get her home safe and sound.
Tonight there was a moment that I felt that I'd lost the girl who owned my heart. Mason was truly a monster and now everyone would see him for what he truly was, as the police put him in the backseat. Many of those nearby had gathered around to see all the commotion and the shock that they had upon seeing Mason and Ally come out of the woods was something unforgettable.
I sighed, walking over to the drivers side of the car, as Ally took her seat in the passenger seat. I got into the car and took her hand, before turning on the car and facing her, "let's get you home..."
