"What the hell is Ditch Day?"

Stiles scrunches up his nose in confusion while Lydia drags him away from the empty school by his hand. He'd never heard of it before, which made sense since he hasn't been in Beacon Hills for six years. "Exactly what it sounds like." She replies.

He looks even more confused. "We're going to dig ditches all day? If your asking me out I thought maybe we could go to a movie or something, but I guess digging ditches is cool... If your into that..." Stiles pouts at her when she chuckles lightly.

Lydia keeps pulling him through the parking lot. If this was anyone else he wouldn't let them touch him, but this was Lydia, and frankly, she could do anything she wanted to him. "First off, when we do go on a date, we're going to do something less cliche then a movie, and second off, ditch day is when you ditch school."

Stiles makes an 'ahh' sound quietly and she laughs a little again. Sometimes he's not even good at hiding his cuteness. Stiles is like a kitten. Lydia's sure he couldn't have killed anyone, all you had to do was spend the day with him.

He's still drenched in childlike wonder.

Scott's mom gave them her car, which was able to hold all of them, including Stiles. Scott tried to grumble about how they would be squished, but Allison grabbed his ear and dragged him in the other room, probably to go curse him out.

He came back with a pout and a 'fine, he can come, but I'm going to tackle him if any supernatural activity happens'. Scott's so paranoid.

Stiles doesn't need help getting into the van, but Lydia insists on holding his hand while he climbs up, and he makes no protests. Lydia wouldn't be able to let go of his hand anyways. It was thoughts like this that scared her.

She knows that she had said many times that nothing ever scared her, but something did. Everyone had something that left them in terrorized, paralyzed fear. Lydia's fear was loving someone. It made sense, everyone that she had ever loved left her. Jackson, Aiden, her dad.

Everyone but Allison. Lydia didn't know what to do when Allison nearly bled out trying to save her. It felt like the air had been sucked out of her lungs and all she could do was sit in a ball and cry about her best friend in the hospital.

Just the thought of having someone else in her life that had that affect on her scared the crap out of her. She'd rather get mauled again by Peter rather than get her heart broken. But the way Stiles looked at her made her want to love him, and maybe she already did.

Lydia leans her head on his shoulder at the thought. Stiles grins and pulls her a little bit closer.

Allison has this big stupid grin on her face, Scott keeps glancing at them from the rear view mirror but can't help his smile at how happy they look, Isaac is pretending that he can't see them, Kira is with Allison, whispering quietly, and even Malia grins out the window.

Sadly, all Lydia can think is that at this point, when everything is perfect, thats exactly when everything goes wrong.

Kira snaps a photo of Lydia and Allison with her dad's camera, the photo quickly starting to develop. Lydia and Allison hug Kira tightly, laughing for no reason. Scott jogs up from the beach and whips his head around so the water gets on the girls.

Allison gasps and flicks sand at him. He laughs, complains about sand in his eyes and picks Allison up over his shoulder lazily, running to the water with the girl held hostage. Kira and Lydia laugh at Scott and Allison, who are adorable.

Lydia nudges Kira with her elbow, a silent question if she's okay. Scott and Kira had broken up last summer 'cause Kira believed that Scott was still in love with Allison. Lydia felt horrible for a few days about it, being split between her two friends, but the year went on and everyone seemed okay.

Kira gives Lydia a look. "Oh come on Lydia, don't get sentimental on me now." She smirks in a very fox like fashion and shoves Lydia towards Stiles. She lands on him with muffled laughter as he groans, placing the girl on his lap.

Kira is such a good friend. With the sand between his toes and Lydia on his lap he can't help but smile with all his teeth up at her.

She's the definition of beautiful. Her older cousin's loose red sweater hangs over her body, covering the black bikini she's wearing under it. The sweater has a few holes in it, but he likes it anyways. Her newly straightened hair is falling around her like some sort of magical strawberry blonde halo.

His chest tightens slightly when she leans in close to him, resting her hands on either side of his head."Hi." Lydia whispers, hearing Kira snap a picture of them, Allison and Scott laughing, and Malia and Isaac slurping beers in the distance.

"Hi." Stiles whispers back. He reaches up puts a strand of soft strawberry blonde hair behind her ear, and for the first time in a while, she blushes. He rests his hand on her hip and pulls her a little closer. Lydia bites her lip to try to contain her smile.

"What are you thinking about?" He questions after a while of them staring at each other. She could tell him about how she was thinking about them coming here for their honeymoon, but decides to save that thought for later.

Lydia shrugs a shoulder, the sweater falling off it easily. "I don't know, I just like this position, don't you?" She asks, running a finger down his bare chest for affect. Her smile grows when goosebumps appear on the skin.

Stiles nods, not trusting his voice right now. Lydia hops off him in a flash, starting to run towards the ocean before he can blink. Stiles groans out loud, realizing she left him like that on purpose. He gets up with a small laugh and follows her.

A/N

I'm in such a good mood right now, even though I'm in a hotel room with my snoring dad and my mom who's watching the news channel on repeat.

Question: Is void Stiles more sexy or scary, or just both?
