Nancy

"Nancy wake up"

"Nancy!! wake up you're gonna be late"

"ok mom!!! give me a minute" ugh she got on my nerves sometimes

I quickly got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast.

I sat down at the table and Mike was chewing so loud

"Mike stop chewing so loud, you're so annoying!!" I yelled

"calm down, Nancy" my dad said

"I'm done" said Mike. he walked to the kitchen and he waited until he thought no one could see, and he put two eggos in his pocket.

"Mike, why are you stuffing waffles in your pocket?" I asked him

"uhhh.... incase I get hungry on the way to school" he said

"You sure you aren't going downstairs to give them to a visitor?" I asked him

"Michael?" my mom asked

he didn't answer

my mom walked downstairs and found El sleeping.

Mike

"Mike why didn't you tell me?" my mom asked

"well I thought you'd be mad" I whispered

El yawned and sat up. She realized my mom was in the room and her eyes got wide

"it's ok" my mom said

"but we need to be safe. If those bad people ever try to come take you there is a dresser, that has a secret compartment, you hide in there, no one will find you. you'll be safe here." my mom said

El and I both looked at eachother and smiled.

I'm so happy she's back for good. I missed her so much and now I can be with her all the time.

"ok, El, do you want to take a shower" my mom asked

she nodded.

"Ok, bye El, I gotta go to school" I said

she got up and gave me a hug "bye mike" she said.

I hated when she said bye to me because it was what she said before I thought she was never coming back.

school was bad as always whatever. I just wanted to come home.

the boys and I got to my house and i forgot they would see that El is still here

when we walk in Dustin sees El on the couch and says "wow you're still here?"

it sounded rude so I punched his arm

"are you crazy? I thought this was a one night thing. she's still here? this is dangerous."

"no it isn't. we have a plan for everything."

he rolled his eyes

Will

Everyone sat down but I got up

"will where are you going? we're just about to play" Lucas said

"oh uh give me a minute I don't feel too good" I said.

I ran to the bathroom and threw up 2 slugs, and threw up again after seeing it.

why was this happening to me.

the bathroom suddenly turned into the upside down and I couldn't help but scream

that lasted a few seconds before it went back to normal

tears rolled down my eyes. I wished things could actually be normal

the door opened and I saw El

"hey" she said

"hi"

"I know what's going on with you" she said

"you do?"

"you aren't alone. it's scary, but it happens to me too." she told me

"why" I asked.

"I don't know but I don't think the upside down is all gone" she said

"so it's still in us?"

"yes"

I sighed. I hate this.

Nancy

I was rude to my mom today so now I have to do the groceries. yay.

I got in the car and drove to the store. I hopped out and made my way in.

I got everything we needed and got outside.

what I saw made my blood boil.

It was Steve

Steve up against a car kissing someone else. oh my god. Is he kissing Brenda from biology?

I dropped the eggs because I was in shock

"what the hell Steve?" I yelled at him

"uhh Nancy I'm so sorry" he said

I could tell it was fake.

I ran to the car so angry. I drove home as fast as I could so I could go cry.

I dialed Jonathan's number

3 rings and he answered

"hey can you come over?"

"sure I guess" he said

"thank you"

"wait, Nancy are you crying?" he asked

"no" I said

"did Steve do this to you? oh my god I'm gonna beat his ass" he said

"no no no please don't"

he hung up.
