I hear my mom calling me so I quickly turn off my laptop and run downstairs. Suddenly I'm greeted with Shawn. "I'll leave you too alone" says my mom as she walks into the kitchen.
"Do you want to go upstairs to my room or stay down here?" I ask.
"Whatever's good for you." He says
So I lead him upstairs to my room.
"So what do you want?" I ask.
"Listen you have to drop the attitude and take me seriously." He says.
"Alright. What do you have to say?" I ask.
"Listen I really like you. A lot. Please just give me a chance. " he pleads as he gets on one knee.
"Listen, Shawn, you're not proposing to me so get up. And I'm not sure if I can trust you. Everyone knows your history. I don't know if I can do this." I say.
"Please, you can test me if it makes you feel better." He pleads as he's still on one knee.
"Shawn I need time to think I can't decide right away." I say. He grabs my hands.
"I'll give you all the time in the world. But please tell me that you'll give me a chance." He says.
"Okay I'll put you to the test. You have to make me fall in love with you, but by doing sweet little gestures. Deal?" I say to him.
"Yes I'll take anything I can get." He says as he hugs me, and I hug him back.
