"Let's play tea party!" Your little cousin yanked on the sleeve of your shirt, begging with big eyes. "Tea party! Tea party!"

You looked to the guest who stood next to you, Levi. He combed back his thick black hair and glared down at your little relative. He really didn't want to be here, but you had to babysit. There was nothing keeping him at this house, but you'd like to think he only stayed because he liked being with you.

You watched his gaze studiously, and then cleared your throat to attract his attention. He shifted his eyes to look at you. You laughed, "I'm sorry, but if we don't she will..."

"I WANT A TEA PARTY!" Cousin wailed at the top of her lungs, stomping her feet. She began to thrash her hands about, not caring who she hit. "TEA PARTY!"

"...flip out." You rolled your ryes and tried to calm the girl. "Okay, okay. We'll have a tea party." You plastered a smile to your face and glanced up at the man next to you. "Won't we, Levi?"

His jaw clenched and rippled with as he ground his teeth in irritation. "Yeah." He said simply, crossing his arms.

Like a switch, your cousin stopped throwing a fit and let her tears dry. She grinned wide, showing her gappy smile. "Yay!" She cheered, and gripped your hand. "Now, you—" she pulled you towards her over pink room, "—are gonna be the Knight in shining armor."

You laughed, waving Levi to follow. "And you're gonna be the princess?" You asked her. Levi slowly stepped in rhythm behind you as the little girl shook her head.

"No, Leevi is gon' be the princess!" She giggled and shoved both of you into the room before anyone could protest. You caught Levi glaring at you, his eyes dark and deadly. You whispered to him as little cousin collected her tea party supplies.

"I'm sorry, man." You said to him, shrugging.

His gaze remained steady. "I swear to god, if I have to w—"

"Wear this!" The little girl shoved a fluffy purple dress into his arms. It hardly seem like it would fit, but that didn't stop you from laughing to the point where you almost fell over and tears rolled down your cheeks.

Levi watched you with a bemused expression. He gripped the dress tightly. "You don't really expect me to wear this."

You sneered playfully. "Yeah, or she will throw—"

"LEEVI WON'T BE THE PRINCESS!" Tears streamed down her cheeks once again. She wailed loudly, and Levi's eyes widened a little. He seemed a little annoyed, but he knew he could leave at anytime, and he stayed. So that made you happy.

He cursed under his breath, shot you a death glare, and slipped the dress over his head. It hardly fit his torso, but at least he got it over his head. It was snug against his chest, the fluffy skirt not even reaching his hips. The sleeves were short and poufy, and they were extremely tight also.

Your cousin's eyes lit up and she grinned happily. "You look so pretty!" She swooned, then searched for your costume. Out of her closet she pulled a plastic knight mask. She handed it to you, smiling wide.

"How am I supposed to drink tea with this?" You asked her.

She put her hand on the side of her mouth, as if to prevent Princess 'Leevi' from reading her lips. "Between you and me," she stage-whispered, "There is no tea." She put her finger to her mouth with a shush. You didn't the same, as if promising to keep the secret.

Your cousin pulled on a pair of sparkly pink fairy wings over her shoulders and clutched a wand.

"And what are you supposed to be?" Levi asked, just barely hiding his bitter tone.

She stuck her chin up. "A fairy princess."

"If you're a princess, then why do I have to be?" He huffed.

"Because I'm a fairy!" She replied, voice shrill.

Levi blinked, and sat down in a small pink chair that was one of three around a tinier table.

You pulled the plastic knight's helmet over your head, hardly able to see, and slowly sat in your seat too. It was so small, your knees were nearly to your chin. You offered a smile to Levi, but you knew he could see it because of your costume. He just glared at you, but the dress made him look far less intimidating. Plus, he gotten some loose sparkles on his chin.

Your cousin skipped and plopped into her seat. She picked up the plastic tea kettle. "Tea?" She chimed.

"Isn't that the whole point?" Levi said, pushing his small cup forward. You cousin puffed her cheeks angrily.

You cleared your throat. "Uh, yes please your...fairiness..."

She beamed and pretended to pour you some tea. "How many cubes of sugar, knight?" She asked.

"Um, none. I take it black." You said. (Realizing that this was tea, not coffee.)

"I bet you do." Levi mumbled.

You looked to him, eyebrows raised. "Milady?" You said as cheerful as humanly possible.

"Yes, I'd like some tea, or whatever." Your cousin begrudgingly poured his some fake-tea and asked him the same question. "Two cubes." He responded, and she pretended to drop two sugar cubes in his tiny, empty plastic cup. She then poured her own and dramatically grabbed a handful of pretend cubes, acting to put them in her own cup.

"Cheers," You said, raising your cup.

"Cheers." Levi said.

"Don't forget your pinkies!" Cousin spat, sticking up her pinkie finger away from her cup. You followed and so did Levi, with a scoff. Your cousin threw back her tea and slapped her cup down. "I'm going to make some cupcakes with my EZ-bake oven." She giggled and ran into the opposite room.

You looked to Levi, pushing up the hinge of the helmet. It fell back down. "Sorry about this. You can leave, y'know."

He scoffed again. "And miss witnessing you try to eat a cupcake with that mask?" Levi flicked a piece of lint from his dress. "As if."

"Well, then." You said, smirking. He wasn't going to leave, which made your stomach do these weird flips and somersaults. "It's nice to have your company, your majesty."

He crossed his arms. "Tch, whatever."

You lifted the flap of the mask again, so you could see a bit better, and breathe a little too. Because that was kinda important too.

"Isn't the princess supposed to fall for the knight in shining armor?" You grinned.

Levi looked at you, only moving his dark eyes. "Only if the said knight can save the said princess from this trap." He raised his eyebrows, and your heart jumped. "Seriously." He finished.

You stood up and poked your head into the opposite room. "Hey, how are those—" Your cousin was passed out on the floor, sound asleep. You turned off the play-oven and went back to Levi. "She's out like a light." All those tantrums really know her out, you guessed.

Levi shut the door softly behind you. He had taken off the frilly dress. You were glad you had the mask on because it hid the blush that stained your cheeks.

He looked at you with hungry eyes. "So, my glorious savior, however can I repay you?"
