Jungkook's POV:

I didn't leave her side the entire night, I ended up sleeping on the floor in fear of what might happen if I did leave. I watch her from the kitchen and drink my breakfast blood, last night still burned into my mind. I never thought I would ever see that happening to her. I never thought that would happen to me.. I feel a pat on my shoulder and I look over to see it's J-Hope. "Morning." "Morning." I lick my lips and finish the last of the blood. I lick my cup a bit before putting it in the sink. "Never thought that you would be the one to break the rules first." "Huh?" He takes a sip of his blood. "You always followed the rules as a kid, not once fought Rapmonster about it. Well until you got into high school. But I never thought it would be you. I thought it would have been one of the others." I let out a sigh and rest against the counter. "What made you want to be with her?" "I just felt something I've never felt before. I can't explain it. All I knew is that I wanted to be with her, no matter what. I didn't care about the others in class, I only cared about her. I didn't care what people thought me. I knew people talked about is, it was obvious, but I didn't care." He chuckles and I stare at him confused. 

"I can't believe it," he says with a smile. "What does that mean?" "Jungkook, the vampire, fell in love with a human." I stare at him shocked, "why are you so surprised? What you just explained was love. And judging by last night, you really showed it. You did all you could do to protect her. If you didn't love her, you wouldn't have done that much." "I would've done it for my friends." "Would you though? Would you break the rules for them?" I bite my bottom lip, "exactly. You wouldn't. But you did for her. By the way, you should go upstairs." "Why?" "Jin and Suga are talking to Rapmonster." I look over at her, "I can't leave her." "Don't worry, she'll be fine." "What if she wakes up?" "I don't think she will, she still looks passed out. If she does, I'll just use my charm." I roll my eyes and punch his shoulder which makes him laugh. J-Hope gets called people's hope, because of his happiness power. He can help people feel better and become happy. So he gets asked a lot to be seen around exams with how stressed out people are. 

"Don't even think about it." "Yeah yeah, just go upstairs." I quickly go upstairs and reach Rapmonster's room. "I don't give a fuck about her! I only care about you guys!," Rapmonster yells. "We don't care if you don't like it Rapmon!," Jin yells. Shit. Jin is yelling, he never does that. "Jin," Rapmon says taken back. "I know for a fact that a clan is trying to get us out so they can take over the town. We know it's happened to other clans in other towns. We agreed that no matter what, if it happens, we'll do whatever it takes to keep this town ours. Especially with the fact we're a good clan. We've kept the peace in this town with the other vampires who live and visit here. And we're not going to fuck this up," Suga says. "And if it means that we protect that girl as well, so be it," Jin snaps. "She's human. She has no part in this." "That clan has chosen to get her involved. I know they'll come back for Jungkook and her, he's the youngest member, and she's his girlfriend. They know he'll do anything to protect her. And they know we'll do anything to protect him." Rapmon groans and I hear something break. 

"She's not the only human you have to protect." "You have to protect rest of the town." "I know," he groans. As clan leader, it's his responsibility to make sure that everyone in town is safe, including humans. This is what happens when you're the leader of the town's clan. It's one of the extra rules on him. "So for now one, we protect her as well." "And you don't get pissed off at Jungkook for being with her. You know he's not going to leave her side now." The door opens and Jin see's me. He smiles down at me and pats my shoulder, "you don't have to worry about him Kookie. Everything is settled now. We'll protect her as well." "Thanks Jin..." "Now go back downstairs, go be with her." I nod quickly and run downstairs. J-Hope is still in the kitchen watching her for me. He smiles at me and nods to her, "she's waking up." I hear her groan and run over to her. 

I kneel down by her and she moves a bit. She groans, holds her head, and slowly opens her eyes. "Hi Laura," I say softly. She looks at me and groans, "Jungkook...," she mumbles. "Yeah, it's Jungkook." "How are you in my room," she groans and tries to sit up but I stop her. "Actually, you're at my place." "I'm... I'm what?" "You slept on my couch last night." Her eyes open wide and tries to quickly sit up. "Woe, take it easy. It's okay." "Why did I sleep here last night?," she says panicked. "We stayed out really late, you were really tired, and with how close we were to my house, we came here. You also got bit by two big ass bugs on your neck, another reason why I brought you here. Jin treated the bites." "Wait, Jin?" Jin comes downstairs, "morning Laura. I'm glad to see that you're up." She looks at him surprised and he smiles at her. She touches her neck and finally realizes that there's a bandage on it. "I took care of the bug bites, just clean it once a day and replace the bandage every time. In a few days, the bites will be gone. I have medicine for it as well." 

"Wh-why is he here?" "The thing is Laura, I don't live with my parents. I live with the guys in BTS. It's just the seven of us here." "You don't live with your parents!?" "I don't, they live in another town, same with their's. We grew up with each other and our parents agreed to allow us to live together." Which is technically the truth... We just don't know where our parents are. It's been tough living on our own. "Wait, they're all here!?" "Yes. But you don't have to worry about them I promise." "It's not that. It's just. I..I..." "You're phone has missed calls," J-Hope says in front of us. She takes her phone from him, "FUCK!" "What is it?" "I have missed calls and texts from my parents," she says panicked. I look up at J-Hope and Jin panicked. We clearly didn't think this through last night.

Jin and J-Hope came with me to Laura's house, seeing how we have the best powers for this situation. "Explain to me where the fuck were you young lady!!!," her dad screams. "And who the fuck are these boys!?" "Th-these are my friends dad." "You've never mentioned them to us before!" "I've mentioned about Jungkoook, dad..." "Which one is Jungkook!?" I slowly raise my hand, "me sir." He walks up to me and slaps me hard on my face. I stumble a bit but Jin holds me up. "Dad! Please don't hurt him!" "If he's the reason why you snuck and never came home last night, I will hurt him!" "Dad don't!" "And why shouldn't I!?" "Because!... Because!... Because he's my boyfriend!," she screams in English and the room goes silent. He glares at me more, raises his fist, but her mom holds his arm. "Don't." "This boy is the reason that our daughter!-" "I know. Just let me see him real quick." She walks in front of him and smiles at me. "Well aren't you handsome." "Mom," Laura mumbles. I smile back and bow, "hi I'm Jungkook." "It's nice to meet you. As well with your friends. Now I'm sure it wasn't your intention to keep Laura out all night." "It wasn't mam, I planned on bringing her home." "What did you do last night?" "We walked on my favorite trail, it's where you can see the stars the best. I apologize for not bringing her home, we both got really tired, and with close we were to my place, we went there instead." 

"Well that's understandable. I'm glad to hear that you took cared of her." "And I promise that we didn't sleep together. She was on the couch, I was in my bed in another room." Her dad growls at that. "I apologize for my husband, he's just mad because you're her first boyfriend." I am!? "We're not used to hearing Laura hanging out with a boy, let alone boys. I assume she knows you two." "I do," she mumbles. "Just so you know, I approve of you for her. Just give my husband some time. Since she is our only daughter." "I understand mam." "Well, things are good now. Who wants breakfast?" "Breakfast?," Jin perks up at that. "Yes, I made breakfast before you four got here. I insist you three stay." "We would love to," I tell her. Her parents walk away first and she lets out a breath of relief. "I'm so sorry about my dad Jungkook," she mumbles. I pull her in close and kiss her head. "It's okay. I promise. You're his only daughter, and I'm you're first boyfriend, it's understandable." She smiles up at me, "come on you four! Breakfast is ready!," her mom yells. "Coming!," Jin yells and quickly walks off. J-Hope and I laugh, "him and his food." 

We go into the kitchen and take a seat at the table. She sits next to me and so does her dad. "Food smells great," J-Hope says. "Thank you." "And it's delicious," Jin says with a mouthful and we laugh. "I'm really into cooking, and I know good food when I taste it." "Then lets cook together some time." "I would love that." J-Hope and I just laugh and we start eating. I look at Laura, remembering last night. She got hurt because of me. I promise Laura, that we're going to protect you.
