I was in the booth when I heard Reggie talking to someone. I opened the door and was surprised to see Danni with Kyleigh.
"Trey you didn't tell me your daughter was such a cutie."
Reggie said playing with Kyleigh's fingers. I smiled.
"What are y'all doing here?"
"Well, I brought you guys something to eat because I figured you'd be here for a while."
She said balancing the bag from Popeye's in her hand.
"Reggie can we have a second?"
"Yeah, yeah."
Reggie headed upstairs leaving me with Danni and Kyleigh.
"What's the real reason you came?"
"Look Trey you're always there for me. And I just want to do the same for you. That's all."
He kissed my forehead.
"That means a lot."
"And I know that I've been busy and not there for you, but I just wanted to let you know I care and I support you and I know this is something you're passionate about and we are here for you."

He took Kyleigh from my arms kissing her and causing her to giggle.
"Danni I do this shit for y'all."
"I know you do."
Reggie came back downstairs.
"Aye Regg let her hear the new version of the song."
I sat down on the small couch in the crowded make shift studio sitting Kyleigh on my lap. I bopped my head and smiled. The song ended and I looked up at Trey who was staring at me nervously.
"So what you think?"
Reggie asked.
"I love it. Baby it's amazing."
Trey smiled at me before coming over and grabbing Kyleigh. We stayed for a little while longer before Kyleigh got ancy and I got sleepy. After saying we would see him at home we parted ways. Giving Kyleigh a bath and rubbing her down with baby lotion put her right to sleep. I grabbed my laptop and decided to catch up on some homework. The video chat went off and I wasn't surprised to see Chris waiting. I clicked the box and smiled. He was in a white t-shirt and basketball shorts stuffing his face with cereal.
