2 hours later Trey and I were sinking into his bed after a long night and even longer day ahead of us in the morning. I was laying on my back with my hands on my stomach looking at the ceiling when I felt Trey roll over.
"What are you doing? You should be going to sleep."
He said half dozing off.
"I know I'm excited though, about tomorrow."
"Yeah you should be."
"Trey have you told your mother about school?"
He got quiet.
"Trey?"
I looked over and his eyes were shut,I couldn't tell if he was asleep or if he was faking but one thing I was sure of, was that he hadn't told his mother about his recent decision.

. The next morning I was awaken by Anixa and Keyanna invading Trey's room and setting up shop to get me ready. I was trying to hide under the covers when Anixa walked over yanking them away.
"No get that ass up! It's nearing 11 and we still have to help decorate and put these pin curls in your hair. Up!"
I grunted wiping the sleep from my face, yawining and stretching. Keyanna walked in with my dress on her arm.
"Girl get ya lazy ass up and get in the shower so we can get going. It's supposed to start at 3."
"Alright! Alright!"
I heard Kenny, Trey, Brendan, and Marcus through the window out cleaning the backyard. Guy talk as usual. I was on my way to the shower when Natalie came bopping up the stairs.
"Hey girl, you ready for your day?"
She said rubbing my stomach.
"Yeah I'm being threatened to get up so I can get my hair done."
"Alright Ms. April just sent me up here to wake you up, I'm downstairs helping with the food if you need anything."
