When I finally woke up, I had an overwhelming of dread. I quickly got up and started to look around. The room wasn't much more than an office with a cot in the corner. The walls were lined with bookshelves, and the shelves were mostly full of books, none of which had a title on the spine. I knew they were diaries and journals, but I only had an interest in two sets of them, my moms and Isiah's. After looking through them, I discovered neither of them were in this room.
I was just about to open the door and go look in another room, when the door opened, before I could touch the doorknob, and Johnathan was standing there with a sickening smirk on his face. I took a few steps back, and he came in, closing the door behind him and leaning against it. "We have some unfinished business." He laughed, quietly.
"No. We don't." I blurted, shaking my head.
In a blur, he came toward me, grabbing my arms and pushing me backwards, until I hit a shelf. "Yes. We do." He growled in a whisper.
"He'll know you're in here."
"No. He won't. He's asleep."
'Shit!!' I tried to squirm out of his grip and made it about three feet, before he grabbed me around the waist and slammed my back to the floor, knocking the wind out of me. As I gasped for a breath, I kicked and shoved against him, but he was too determined. Nothing I did was going to stop him. 'Shock him!' My mind screamed, and I focused on that tremble I felt before. Slowly, my bones started to ache, and I forced the tremor to rush through me to my hands.
He groaned in pain and punched me in the face, breaking not only my concentration but my jaw and cheek bone. As my head snapped to the side, I moaned in pain and spit out a mouthful of blood and a few teeth. I had barely started to heal myself, before he started to tear at my clothes. I kept trying to squirm out from under him, but it was just pissing him off more and making him even more persistent.
He grabbed my wrists, pinned them over my head with his left hand and slammed my head against the floor with his right, as he snapped through gritted teeth "Stop fighting it. You know you can't win."
"I'll tell Isiah, if you don't leave me alone."
He laughed and snapped "He can't do shit about it. He needs us as much as he needs you. You might as well face it and get used to it. You're stuck with me."
"What about when he's done with you? What do you think he'll do then?"
"Absolutely nothing." He smirked and slammed his teeth into my neck. As his venom scorched through me, I gasped in pain and brought my knee up as hard as I could, hitting him where it counts. He lost his grip on my wrists, and I grabbed his ears and ripped his teeth from my neck. While he groaned in pain, I shoved him off me and crawled away from him, rushing toward the door. I barely started to pull the door open, before he slammed me against it, slamming the door shut with a hard and loud thud. "You stupid, bitch." He growled, wrapping his right arm around my neck and squeezing hard. I clawed at his arm and squirmed to get loose, but I was losing consciousness, quickly. As he backed away from the door and spun around, he inched toward the bed and scoffed "Give up. You won't win."
"Let ... go." I wheezed, barely audible.
As he started to laugh, the door flung open, and William snapped "Let her go, John."
As he spun around to face William, he growled "Mind your own business, Will."
"Don't do this. He's already pissed at you. Let her go." William tried to reason.
"Get out, Will, or I'll make you leave." Johnathan threatened.
William stalked toward us and challenged "Try it."
