Skylar's Allies^
When I wake up, I realize that it's early, and Estelle won't be over for another 15 to 20 minutes. I smile thinking about what happened last night, but then I remember I still have training. I sigh and get out of bed, walking over to my dresser. I open the top drawer to find my training clothes from yesterday cleaned. I pull the clothes on and brush out my hair, pulling it into a side ponytail. I smile as I see my dreamcatcher necklace. I pick it up and hold it in my hand before putting it back down and heading for the door. When I open it, I find Estella just walking up to my door.
"Oh, you're already up, good," Estella says when she sees me. She gives me a smile before heading over to Luca's room.
I head out to the dining room and find only Sylvia there, drinking coffee with a plate of pastries.
"Good morning," I say happily with a big smile as I sit down.
"Good morning, why so happy?" Sylvia asks.
"Oh nothing," I say, still smiling. Sylvia rolls her eyes before laughing.
I take a plate and some pastries as well as some orange juice. I start eating and I hear someone walk into the room. I look up from my food to find Alec sitting down next to me. I smile at him, but he just looks forwards, almost ignoring me. Confused, I turn back to my food.
"Skylar, come with me, I need to ask you something," Sylvia says suddenly. I stand up and follow her to her room, where she shuts the door.
"What did you want to ask me?" I ask, wanting to know what she wants.
"Is there something going on between you and Alec? You were all happy this morning, and when Alec walked in you got excited, I could tell," Sylvia says with a smirk.
"I... well... fine, there is something, I think. I went to his room last night because he's been waking me up with nightmares the past couple nights, and he kissed me, but he ignored me when he walked in this morning," I say.
"Ooh, romance!! I'm sure it's nothing," Sylvia says as we walk back towards her door and head back to the dining room. I sit down next to Alec again and Sylvia sits next to me. I look at Alec and he seems busy eating. I sigh and eat my breakfast.
Luca and Estella soon join us, then it's time for training. I stand up and walk towards the elevator with Luca. I turn back and look at Alec one last time. He sees me and winks, his lips forming a small smile. As I step into the elevator I smile to myself.
We arrive to training and I spot my allies waiting at the fire making station, which we need more work on.
"Hey guys," I say with a smile.
"Hey Sky," Lace says with a sweet smile.
We get to work on the fire, and attempt a few more times until we can make a decent fire pretty quickly.
"Do you guys know how to swim? Just in case there's water?" I ask.
All three of them nod their heads no.
"We should go to the pool room, I'll teach you," I say. They follow me over to a door labeled 'pool' and we go in. We grab swimsuits and change in changing rooms. I jump in the pool and they walk to the shallow end and make their way in. I demonstrate how to swim and they try in the shallow end, gradually making their way to the deep end. Lace catches on pretty quickly, and is soon swimming all around the pool. Raya and Ryker catch on a little bit later. Soon enough they're all pretty good swimmers so we get out and head to the changing rooms, where I find a small shower. I decide to quickly wash the chlorine out of my hair and let the blow dryer dry it quickly. I step out and notice that Raya and Lace seem to have done the same.
