*1 week later*

-Kailyn-

"Wake up babe!" I whisper-shouted.

He slowly rolled around & rubbed his eyes. "Whaaat.." he groaned, he sounded raspy and tired. I playfully nudged him & to my surprise he fell right off the bed & i tried desperately to control my laughter from escaping my mouth.

I was truly scared to see the very expression that would place itself upon his face when he finally lifted himself off the floor. I heard his hands plant themselves onto the wood floor - a very hard wood floor at that.

I slowly peeked over the edge of the bed, anxious to see what his face looked like. Again.. i was trying so hard to keep my laughter on the inside. Before i could see, he jumped at me & tackled me, making me fall backwards. His soft lips attached themselves to mine & i could taste the mint from last night when he brushed his teeth.

I giggled making him pull away from the kiss, he reached over & tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Wow, how did i get this lucky.." He whispered.

"What do you mean?" I licked my lips.

"How did i get this lucky, to have such a beautiful girl in my life like you. You're so special.. i'm so happy i get to call you my wife soon." He smiled at me, his eyes still looking tired. His cheeks still got a pinkish red, same as they'd always had when he was embarrassed or shy or just generally around me.

It took me back to when we first started dating & it made me smile even bigger. I reached forward & ran my fingers through his soft curls. He closed his eyes& ran his thumb back & forth along my cheek.

"Did you ever think we could make it this far?" I said. He opened his eyes slowly & looked at me. "I always had a feeling, i thought maybe we would last forever.."

"Do you believe in forever?" I whispered.

"I always have.." He kissed my neck & rolled over getting up off the bed.

He left me there, filled with thoughts of our future together. He walked into the bathroom & started the shower. I sat there for another 10 minutes before getting up & going to the hallway bathroom so i could get myself ready as well.

"Excuse me! Excuse me ma'am! Help me please, my girlfriend is unconscious please help me!" I started to panic like crazy.

I held her up in my arms, she didnt have much strength at the moment & she was going in and out as i tried getting help for her.

We were out on a date, ice skating downtown. As we were skating, she seemed to get white and whiter. I didnt think anything of it, & suddenly she fell out right on the ice rink.

I picked her up in my arms & thankfully got some help. The medics came closer,& lifted her onto a stretcher so she could take an ambulance to the hospital. I quickly made it to my truck, following them straight there.

"Doctor, is she, alright.." I managed to stutter out.

He raised a hand to me & nodded. "Please stay calm sir, we're hooking her up to an IV right now & she'll be fine. But.. we still haven't figured out why she passed out like that." He said.
