Chapter 7

-Kailyn-

I was beginning for freak out. What was I going to say. I prepared my voice out. He sat by me smiling. My face went blank, trying to act like I'd never seen him before. He grabbed my hand and I tensed up.

"Umm, hello. Who are you?"

He seemed puzzled.

"Umm, Your Kailyn .. Aren't you?"

I hesitated. Think Kailyn.. think. I quickly thought of a name.

"No, sorry. My names Elizabeth. Nice to meet you. Please.. Let go of my hand."

He giggled. I had to smile. I still loved that laugh, it was perfection. Ugh, what am I saying? I'm mad at him.

"Oh, my names Austin. So.. Where are you headed?"

"New York. I just love it there. How about you?"

"I'm performing at the Theatre in the city. You should come.. Nobody else is going. Like, someone that I know."

"Well, I really can't.. I'm going-"

He cut me off.

"Please? My girlfriend can't go.. Well she's not going. I need some support. You seem like a nice girl."

"I thought Crystal was going?"

"Wait what?"

"Oh.." I murmured softly. "Nothing."

Almost fucked my plan over. He nodded slowly and I bit my lip. I was nervous that he'd find out. But that was sorta the least of my worries.

"So.. What happened with you and your girlfriend?"

"She got pissed at me about something stupid. But I wish she was here. I miss her a lot."

He really meant that? Austin does care about me. I couldn't stop and go home though. No; I had to figure out about this 'Crystal' girl. Boys have a way of changing their feelings fast & it's just a matter of time before Austin develops feelings for Crystal.

He began again, with a simple phrase.

"I love her so much."

"I love you too.."

"Huh?"

"Oh I meant.. I'm sure she loves you too. Hey.. I uhh. I have to go."

"Wait! Are you going?"

"I dont know.. Ill see what I can do." I left him with a sincere smile and walked off.

I quickly got up to sit by Tyetta. I explained everything to her & I looked back. Austin was staring at me, just like he did.. When he knew who I was. He looked like he was figuring out my plan. Soon he was walking over to me and he asked one more question.

"You look like Kailyn.. My girlfriend. Are you sure, you don't know her? Sister? Cousin?"

I stuttered.

"I don't know any Kailyn. Sorry. You should sit, The plane is taking off."

He looked down and shook his head.

"Alright."

I was completely scared. He's going to find out sooner or later & when he knows I lied, he's gonna be so disappointed in me. Damn, why did I have to be apart of this? I just wanted a simple relationship with a boy I loved - Austin.
