I sat across from Matthew, seriously questioning my mental stability. Now that I'd came here, I reprimanded myself. Everyone else was right, there would've been another way, but I'd been so sure, so stubborn, that I hadn't even considered the possibility that there was another way.
"Why did you change your mind?" Matthew's harsh voice rang through the room.
"Zamon was the reason why I left in the first place, and he's treated me like shit since i'd been in the Blood Nomads. He accused me of being the reason Kyle was killed, and blames me for this war. Don't get me started on Jason, he thinks everything he says is right, and always favored other people over me. Let's just say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to them." I stretched the truth as much as possible, hoping he believed me.
"I understand, Jason is power hungry, and doesn't care who gets in his way. And Zamon just follows him around, doing whatever he says." My eye twitched at what he said, but I kept my cool.
"Now, I'm going to tell this to you now. My gang is very different to Jason's, here we have rules, and you are expected to follow them. We also have a roster, which tells you which jobs you'll be doing. You'll see the rest when you start, do you have a place to stay tonight?"
I swallowed,"Yeah I do." I could tell already that this will be hard.
"Okay, I want you here tomorrow at 10 a.m sharp. I will explain further then." He put his head down, completely ignoring me, so I took that as my chance to leave.I found Hunter pacing in front of the office.
"Why are you so worried?" I asked, startling him.
He turned to me, grabbing my hand and dragging me back through the clubhouse.
"Hunter, slow down!" I was nearly running, trying to keep up with his long strides. I didn't have short legs or anything, but he had atleast 5 inches on me.
He didn't stop until we reached the doors, and still looked over his shoulder.
"Rebecca, why the hell did you join? Do you know how stupid you are?" He asked, fuming.
"Because I don't want to be apart of the Blood Nomads anymore, I hate Jason and Za-"
"No you don't. It's obvious that your doing this for another reason, so what is it?" He took a step closer, so I took one back, leaning against the wall.
I thought about it. Did I just tell him the truth? but he might tell his dad. I sighed, he was gonna find out anyway.
"I need to stop this war." I whispered.
He stopped, staring at me. He didn't move. He didn't blink. He just stood there. I stared up at him, worried about what he'd do. His eyes flitteted up and down my face, stopping on my eyes.
"I'll help." Two words. Two words that managed to render me speechless.
"W-what? Why?" I asked after I finally found my voice.
"The same reason as you. I think it's stupid. All its gonna do is get people killed, hell, it already has. It's basically just a fight between Jason and Matthew, because they hate each other."
I stared up at him,"Why do they hate each other?"
"That's not my story to tell." He smirked, stepping away from me, making me realize just how close we had been.
"I guess i'll see you tomorrow." I said, walking over to the door, turning to smile at him.
"Yeah, at 10, sharp." He said, chuckling as he walked away.
He isn't as bad as I thought.

I knocked on the window, trying to be quiet, but I was freezing my ass off out here.
The window finally opened, revealing a half asleep Holland.
"Hoe, help me up." I whispered, causing her to groan and hold her hand out.
After stumbling into her room, we both collapsed on the bed, letting silence fill the room.
"He talked to me." Holland's quiet voice rang through the room, causing me to turn and look at her.
She was on her back, eyes open, staring at the ceiling.
"He finally grew some balls, huh?" We laughed, looking at each other.
"Yeah. He said he was sorry, but he doesn't want anything right now, other than a friend."
"At least it's a start. Now all you have to do is manipulate his feelings and make him love you again!" We laughed again, shifting and pulling the duvet over us.
"I think i'll leave the manipulating to you, that's your forte."
"True, night hoe."
A second later,"Night bitch."

"What time do you have to be there?" Holland asked as I sat on the bed, trying to wake up. I felt through the bed until my hand found my phone, and after looking at the time, I answered.
"In an hour." I flipped back on the bed, groaning.
"Do you have any clothes?" She asked, looking through her small closet.
"Ah, about that. I left my bag of clothes in my car. The car I gave to Ryan. Which I left in California."
She turned to face me, giving me a reprimanding look, as if asking, seriously?
I shrugged innocently, making her groan in response and bang her head against her closet.
"I'm going to go to your old room to see if you have any clothes there, because I know you won't wear anything of mine, since it's too girly, and you want to make a statement."
I raised my eyebrows at her in shock, damn, she's good.A minute later she returned, throwing a bunch of clothes at me. As I held each item up, I realized thet were the clothes I wore on my first day of school. My white shirt with a black dream catcher on it, black skinny jeans, my old leather jacket, and my white converse.
After getting changed, I smirked at my reflection in the mirror. I checked the time, then put my phone in my pocket, I had fifteen minutes.
Banging on the door startled us, and we turned to each other, panic stricken.
"I know she's here Holland! Where is she?!" Zamon's voice forced me into action.
I threw my other clothes into the closet, then raced to the window. In my rush, I tripped over the windowsill, falling to the ground.
Holland had to hold in her laughter, as she stood, closing the window.
" I'll ring you later." I told her before the window closed completely.
As I quickly crept along the wall, I heard Zamon bellow," Where is she?!"
I cackled as I ran to my bike, then I was off.
