2 weeks. I had been here for two whole weeks. 336 hours. 20,160 minutes. 1,209,600 seconds. And during that whole time, I had been productive. I had been out doing odd jobs with Hunter, the illegal kind. I wouldn't say Hunter and I were best friends, but we were closer. It made me realize how much I had judged him. All I'd ever heard about him had been from Kyle, Keenan and Holland. My opinion had been completely biased. I didn't like him because they didn't like him. I was wrong to judge him like that.
We had just gotten back from a job in the next town over, and I was completed drained. We were tasked with telling a family of 5, now 4, that their father, the woman's husband, was dead. A man that Zamon had killed.
Truthfully, I thought it was Matthew's way of showing me how bad of a person Zamon was. He was trying to manipulate me, to make sure I was truly on his side. So I was gonna make sure he believed I was.
We were walking to our rooms, when I watched Matthew's office door open at the end of the hall. He stepped out and watched us approach.
"Is it done?" His hard voice questioned in the silence.
Hunter's answer was a nod of the head, and I chose that moment to throw my 'opinion' out there.
"I just can't believe Zamon would do something like that. I mean, the poor man had 3 kids. Zamon's a monster." I also made myself look solemn.
Matthew nodded his head in agreement, his eyes held a glint in them. He thought he had me, to do whatever he pleased, and he did, for now.
"Well, thank you. Now, you two might want to go change, it's trivia night." Matthew exclaimed, before retreating back into his office.
We continued walking towards the stairs, and as we started to ascend, Hunter started to talk.
"What was that? Your not backing out are you?" He whispered, looking over his shoulder.
I stood in front of my bedroom door, facing him.
"Why do you think Matthew sent me there? to that family?" Realization crossed his face, before I continued.
"I said those things so he believes that I'm on his side, that I'm not spying on him for Zamon."He nodded, looking deep in thought."Okay, that makes sense. But we need to figure out what were gonna do, because I have a feeling that Matthew's gonna do something soon."

Hunter, his group of friends and I sat, with a bottle of vodka and Jack Daniels, playing never have I ever.People were starting to warm up to me. 'warm up' as in not wanting to kill me.
"Never have I ever, slept with Zamon" Marc said, smirking at me.
I groaned,"You guys know too, fuck me, is there someone that doesn't know?." I ranted, picking up my cup of vodka, taking a mouthful.
"Well, I didn't, but I do now." Hamish, a skinny nerdy looking guy, exclaimed. He worked as a hacker, and clearly didn't drink much, considering he had only had 4 shots.
Grumbling, I thought of something I could say,"Um, never have I ever... slept with a girl!"I grinned at the boys.
Looking around the circle, I noticed Hamish was the only one who didn't drink, but as I looked to my left, I realized that Hunter, too, hadn't picked up his drink, causing me to gape at him.
"You've never slept with a girl? Are you gay?"
Under my stare, he flushed red, making me feel guilty. He looked down at the floor, refusing to meet my gaze.
"Don't worry, I wish I had waited." I said quickly. Not that I had much of a choice.
Hunter stared up at me, as if reading my thoughts, in turn I sent him a reassuring smile.
"Never have I ever, been in love." Hunter said to the group. I groaned, picking up my cup, again.

I sat my drink down, slightly buzzed. My phone was buzzing in my pocket, so I stood and somehow maneuvered around the group of loud boys. A second later I was climbing the stairs to my bedroom.
I looked down to see JJ as the caller Id, just as I was about to answer, I bumped into someone exiting my room. It was Matthew.
"I was looking for you, I'm making an announcement in five minutes." He was gone before I could reply.
I shrugged, entering my room and answering on the last ring.
"Hey baby, do you have some news for me?" I staggered over to the bed, sitting on the edge.
"Actually its Ryan, but yes. Regarding the laptop that you stole? Well, it so happens that your parents case was only investigated by the FBI, but the case itself belongs to the CIA."
I frowned,"But don't the CIA deal with international affairs? And security and stuff overseas?"
A voice interrupted in the background, and a second later JJ was speaking.
"That's exactly what I thought, so I did some digging. Sometimes, and it's rare, the FBI gives specific cases to the CIA because the central intelligence agency has permission from the president himself, to act on his behalf. Which includes wiping out a target without a plausible reason. So I did a little more digging, and found the first man that was on the case, his name is Andy Williams, who is currently in Russia. Luckily he's returning to the states in 3 days."
"JJ, I can't leave. I'm sure that Matthew doesn't trust me, and leaving now will be suspicious."
"I know that, that's why Ryan is going to do it." I heard Ryan's exclamation of What?!, before the line went dead.
I sighed, before groggily making my way back down stairs.
As I made my way to my seat, I noticed Matthew already on stage.
"What is she doing here?" I heard to my left, and when I looked, I scowled.
Adam and a good majority of his gang, stood, minus Angelica, of course. Mason stood next to him, looking dead.
"Adam, sit down and shut the fuck up. I invited you here because I'm making an announcement." Matthews voice boomed into his microphone.
Even I sat down at the warning, waiting for him to continue.
"In three days time, we are going to attack the Blood Nomads clubhouse."
