"(Name), you sick?" Kiyoko asked, as we got ready for the practice match between Karasuno and Seijoh. "No, just feeling a bit cold." I sighed, putting down the filled up energy drinks and the clipboard. "T-thanks for you help (Name)-san!" Yachi bowed nervously which made both Kiyoko and I smiled, "There's no need! I'm free anyway." I petted her head and she instinctively backed away, "W-w-woah! You're cold!!" I smiled and held my jacket tighter towards me, "Yeah. I am." and left the duo to gather the members onto the bus.
The closer we were from Seijoh, the warmer I felt. Almost to the point where the freeze I felt throughout my life was never there. I slowly took off the jacket and by the time I got off the bus, the jacket was unnecessary. The scorching sun lived up to its name. As I walked along side the club, I met eyes with a not so much flamboyant but having a vibe of his own male. The way he walked, stride was more of an accurate term to use. The way his arms muscle were chiseled nicely '(NAME)! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ROOTING FOR KARASUNO!'
No matter how hard I tried not to pay too much attention on Seijoh. Well, Seijoh's number 4 to be exact, my eyes kept darting towards the ace as he spiked the ball down. 'Woah... He's hot...' Yachi caught me admiring but spoke nothing of it, only taking out her phone to text someone with a sinister smile. "Is something wrong?" I asked, looking over to Yachi only to see her suspicious behavior. "Nothing! Hehe!" And diverted our attention back to the game.
The game ended with a close win by Karasuno, which they celebrated their victory. Though I felt happy as they lifted their captain up, I glanced towards the other side of the court to see the sulks on Seijoh's faces, especially number 4. "Hey, if you wanna talk to him, then go ahead." Kiyoko smirked and pushed me towards the Seijoh locker room. I realized that the further away the team walked, the colder I felt. I rushed over quickly and surprisingly, the temperature got normal, warm even.
"Hey! Number 4, wait!" I called out jogging towards the team that now stopped and I accidentally tripped towards them. I closed my eyes, bracing for the hard contact of the concrete floor, but all I felt was the strong embrace of warmth. "(Name)! Be more careful!" I widen my eyes, 'How did he know my name...?' I thought, as I was met with intense eyes. "I love you, (Name)." He smiled, then held me tightly like he missed me for a long time. "I love you too." The tears were forming, as I embraced him back. "Iwaizumi, Iwaizumi Hajime." He petted my head and led me back to the locker room where he offered to walk me home later. Well, it was a eventful and good walk home and that was all that matters.
