Hey guys, It's Kurosu (Angie for those who know me personally), and I want to apologise for my lack of publishing on my other stories and would also like to reassure you that I have a strong belief that this story is going to be a good one. All the characters are drawn by me (hopefully).
Without further ado, I present to you the first character of the story and the character that most of your P.O.V will be in... (You have read the title anyways).

(This isn't what I exactly wanted her to look like so I am going to show you another photo but it might give away the "?". However, This photo was drawn long time ago and is what encouraged me to start this story so it might look different, but it might give you my insight on what I expect Akane to look like).

(You're probably thinking "Wow Kurosu. Really? Thin waist, Big boobs.". It was a draft. Sue me.)
Anyways, Lets continue with the introduction, shall we?
Name: Akane Kurai
Age: 17
Personality: Badass
History
When Akane was young, she lived happily with her family, Akika Kurai (Her Mother) and Daisuke Kurai (Her Father). She was 5 at the time and didn't understand much but she didn't need to.
As time passed however, things started to fall apart. Her mother became very ill and had to stay in a hospital for a very long time. Her father began to drown his sorrows in alcohol and started seeing different women as he thought that would fill the void in his heart. However, nothing could ever replace his sweet Aki.
Therefore, he began to blame Akane for the illness of her mother. A simple scold became a slap. A slap became a punch. A punch became a kick. A kick became abuse. Daisuke believed strongly that Akane was the only reason for his sorrow.
Akane became depressed and began to harm herself. Even she believed that she was the cause of her Mother's illness. Then, it happened.While Akane was asleep, her mother appeared in her dream telling her that it isn't her fault and everything is going to be okay.
Akane held onto that one hope and prayed for her mother. One night Akane ran far away from her father and his abuse. She never knew what happened afterwards because survival became her main priority.
Due to her lack of blood from all her cuts and bruises, Akane fell into a deep coma for a while. When she woke up in a hospital, she had no idea what had happened, where she was or what had happened for her to be here.
After an explanation, she had found out that she was in a coma a year and her father committed suicide a few months ago, claiming to have nobody left in his life. Poor Akane believed that her whole family was gone. She then remembered the promise that her mother had made and went to visit her at the hospital she was last in.
Only to find nothing.
Akane then goes on a quest to find her mother at only 6 years old. After a month she had finally found her, but something had changed about her. Her mother was depressed about the death of her Husband and was still grieving from last month to now. Her once joyful personality was now overwritten with a pessimistic, grumpy one.
Akane had managed to bring back a fragment of that personality, but that wasn't enough to keep her alive.
Akane becomes a rude character with no care for others over the years due to her mother's personality rubbing off on her.
Then she meets Hiroshi.
After being enrolled into an elementary school at 7, Akane meets this boy called Hiroshi. He changes her personality slightly and with his perseverance they had completely become best friends within a few years.
Hiroshi was always a coward which gave Akane the need to be brave, fearless and...
Badass.
It has been 3 years and things had began to return to normal. Akane was at the park playing with Hiroshi. Afterwards, they both decide to walk home together because they live near each other.
Happily skipping home, Akane and Hiroshi were. They say their goodbyes and then walk into their individual home.
Akane swings the door open shouting "I'm home mother!".
No response.
She tries again.
No response.
Akane begins to look around the house in search for her mother.
She finally finds a note with some red stuff on it. All the note says is...
"I' m sorry."
Akane looks up and couldn't believe what was she saw. Her mother had...
hung herself.
Ever since then Akane never trusted anyone but Hiroshi with her secrets and covers her true emotions with a façade.
Because it's best that way, Right?

That was the introduction of Akane Kurai. Sorry for all the depression, I wanted her to have a hard past for her to be able to be so badass.
