History
Asahi was a child who slacked off. At only 8 years old, he was behind in his studies and his parents outcasted him while focusing on Hirono. Hirono didn't like the attention at all so she stuck with her brother even when their parents wouldn't let her.
Asahi didn't want his sister to waste her talent so he distanced himself to Hirono. However, Hirono refused to leave his side. Asahi decided to accept her love and they began to properly bond at 9.
Life was blissful, apart from the hate that his parents inflicted on him for taking their dear Hirono away from them. Asahi and his dear twinstuck together through thick and thin.
However, something happened that changed everything. Asahi woke up one night, not feeling sleepy at all, and decided to roam around the house. Unfortunately, he had to overhear another of his parents' infamous arguments.

"Who is Satoshi?"
"He is just a friend, darling you're overreacting!"
"Overreacting? I'll show you overreacting!" Father is drunk again.
He heartlessly slaps his Mother across the face with no mercy. His Mother cowers onto the floor and begins to silently sob.
"Give me your phone!"
"N-No."
Asahi, being the brave person he is, steps in and takes the punch that his Mother could have gotten.
"Stupid brat! Go back to bed!"
Hirono walks into the scene, teddy bear in one hand and rubbing her eyes with the other. "Onii-san (I'm pretty sure that means brother in Japanese. Just to save the confusion, I'll switch between the two) I can't sleep, please come back." Hirono pleads.
Asahi smiles warmly and walks to his twin sister's side.
His Father was furious that he would just walk away fearlessly like that. His Father grabs Hirono tightly by the arm and drags her into his bedroom.
*That's where the unfortunate event happens. He was still drunk by the way... T.T*
Asahi was paralysed from what had just happened. All he could do was watch. With superhuman speed, he calls the police, explains the situation and rushes to the room, a sudden wave of bravery and adrenaline rushing through him.
He slashes his Father's face with a blade from his Mother's drawer ( Very sad logistics... T^T?).
Asahi uses that chance to grab his sister and run to their room, locking it. The police arrive and take his Father away.
With a Father who raped his beloved sister and a Mother who abandoned them in their time of need (Probably ran off to Satoshi... >v<), they decided they were not safe in the state they were in at the moment. Therefore, they decided to start a new life.
At 10 years old, Asahi began to look after his sister like she was gold. He never wanted her to experience such misery ever again.
When they became 11, they started school again. Although they were often separated, it didn't seem to affect them.
Then he met Akane.
Then Akane met Asahi.
It seemed like love at first sight to him.
As he got to know her, it seemed like the bond with his sister was weakening.
She also seemed to notice this, so she decided to meet this Akane girl.
Then Hirono met Hiroshi.
Then Hiroshi met Hirono.
