VIII. ANNOYING
*SIEG’s POV*
I was still in the middle of my musings when, without a warning, I felt a soft nudging on my right arm.
“Hey, you heard that, Sieg? That’s our bell. It’s lunch break already!” Louise said while beaming perkily.
“Yeah.” I replied nonchalantly.
I then noticed the look she’s giving me—Her emerald eyes deliberately narrowing.
“I knew it!” I heard her blurt out.
And it kind of hurt my ears.
Damn. She can be loud sometimes.
And well, I just threw her a quizzical look. Just what did she realize now?
“I knew you weren’t really paying attention to class at all. Hah. I could tell you were daydreaming the whole time.” She answered with a smug look. Haha. Cute.
Okay. So what’s that about? She could read minds, what the hell.
And wait, did she just say that she noticed me daydreaming the whole time?
Then that means..
SHE NOTICED ME STARING AT HER THE WHOLE TIME, TOO?!!
Oh no. That was err—embarrassing. And here I thought I’d never deserve another panic attack this day. I can already feel the red blush creeping on my neck.
Just.. calm down, Sieg.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Just try and change the topic.
Oh, right!
“S-so, are we having lunch in the classroom or in the cafeteria?”
Ugh. That was no good. Do I really need to stutter, man?
“Hmm, I guess we’ll have lunch in the cafeteria. Besides, I have to introduce you to my best friend.”
So, she has a best friend. Okay. But, wouldn’t I be getting in the way? I mean, girls tend to do.. uhm, what do you call that? Girl things, girl talk or whatever.
“That’s okay with you, right?” She asked me with a worried look on her face.
Ah, no good. She’s all worried now.
“Yeah, of course. That’ll be great."
“All right! Let’s get going then!”
She suddenly took me by the hand and rushed out of the room. Well, that was another panic attack. She’s holding my hand like it’s the most common thing to do!
Just what is happening to me all of a sudden?!
Argh. Fine. I’ll just let her take me to the cafeteria.

*LEO's POV*
I suppose I shouldn’t have left the room right away. A lot of the students are practically entering the cafeteria. And soon, ‘they’ will be here-- the crazy fan girls.
