Chapter 6

Ruth P.O.V

As soon as Lottie told us to the leave the room and to call her mum, we went to the kitchen. Liam sat there, looking all guilty "Don't worry Li, you didn't do anything wrong" I said. Trying to comfort him.

"How do you know, you wasn't in there when he started" he said, raising his voice a bit.

"I just know Liam. Trust me" and with that, I went on Lottie's phone and rang her mum.

Jay P.O.V

Me and Karen had to go to work to do a few bits, so we left Ruth in charge as she is the oldest. But I specifically told Lottie to keep her eyes on Louis because of the way he has been lately.

About half an hour later when we was doing a few bits and pieces, I got a call from Lottie.

"Hey love" I said.

"Jay? Is this you?" Asked a voice which see me to be Ruth.

"Yes this is. Is everything ok?" I asked. Feeling really worried.

"No, Somethings happened with Louis So we've taken him back to your house. Lottie is currently with him" oh no. I've really got to get home. I feel bad now for leaving him there really, knowing about what he's been like.

"Ok, I'll be there in about 5 minutes" I said and hung up.

"Karen I've really got to get going, something's happened with Lou" I said. And with that, I went out to my car and drove home. Karen saying she'll be over when she can.

No one's point of view (so it's third person)

Jay got back as soon as she could and went to where Louis was with Lottie. They done what they got told to do with him and had taken him up to the hospital. Karen came just before they left and followed behind with Ruth and Liam in her car.

When they got to the hospital, Liam didn't even get to see the younger boy and therefore had to sit in the waiting room. He wasn't long after joined by his mum, Ruth and Louis mum and Lottie.

"He's been taken in and the doctors had to do something" said Lottie. Liam felt real bad.

"This is all my fault" said Liam, with a tear falling down his face.

Jay looked up at him, realising that Liam never knew Louis true problems. "Liam love, this isn't your fault. I should've told you this year's ago, but I had thought nothing about it" Liam looked up at Jay, really confusingly.

"So, when Louis was just born, he was taking in for and operation that lasted Avery long time because they had realised something wasn't right with him. They said that he would be like any other child growing up, but he wouldn't be as tall as other people, that's why he's so petit. And that he has a 5% chance of making it to his 16the birthday" she said, on the verge of crying.

"O-oh" was all that Liam could say. It was then he had realised why Louis had changed. And why he is so quiet. And why he is the way he is. And that he isn't well and is basically dying. But he never wanted to think of it like that.

Jay said that she went to call Louis other sister, Felicite who is currently down in Plymouth, studying for her degree. When she came back in she said that Felicite would be here either late tonight or some time tomorrow.

Around an hour later, a doctor came back in. Saying that we could go in to visit him. But only two at a time. First in went Lottie and Jay.

They both started talking to him, he was saying a few bits back. About 15 minutes later, Ruth and Karen came in. Eventhough they didn't exactly know the younger boy, they still tried to make an effort to make conversation with him.

Before Liam was allowed to go in, a doctor came back out and started to explain a few bits and pieces to Jay. Not long after, she came back, face all red and still crying a bit. Lottie went and comforted her.

Jay explained to them that the young 15 year old Louis Tomlinson, only had 1 week left to live.
