Chapter 7

No ones P.O.V

As soon as Jay told them all the news, Liam couldn't keep it in much longer. Tears had started running, rapidly down his red cheeks. He went and sat back down outside his hospital room, not wanting to speak to anyone.

Karen had tried to comfort him, but all the older boy wanted was to be left alone.

With It now being 10pm, Karen decided to take Ruth home. Not Liam. This was because he wanted to stay because he still hadn't had his chance to speak to Louis. Jay had said that she'll drop him back off, but Liam had insisted on staying the night.

On the other hand, Louis was still in his hospital bed, looking out at the people sat down. He noticed that it was his mum, Lottie and Liam. He was wondering why Liam hadn't come in to see him.

Moments later though, the door opened, but Louis only thought it was a doctor so he just stayed silent. But the person didn't speak to him. He felt a bit angry and frustrated because he was being held up in the hospital when there's nothing wrong with himself. So he thinks.

Liam P.O.V

I couldn't help but keep on looking in at him. My own best friend, the one that I thought was perfectly fine and healthy when we was younger, the one I've grown to develop feelings for. Lied there in his hospital bed, with only one week left.

I don't Www understand why nobody has told him anything about this, but then you wouldn't if you want to see them on their final days be happy. Just because they didn't know.

"Would you like to go on and see him?" The doctor asked me. I hesitated a little. Debating on whether or not I should, but then I knew I'd regret it if I didn't.

I stood up and opened up the door. He was there laid on his side. I wasn't sure if he was awake or not but as soon as I heard him sigh, I knew that he was awake.

I went and sat down on the chair, next to his bed. His eyes were closed and he looked even smaller in his bed. I moved his hair out of the way from his face when he had quickly shot his eyes open.

"Hey Lou" I said.

"H-hi L-Liam" he half-whispered back.

"How you feeling?" I asked

"S-soso" he replied.

We continued making small talk, him laughing a few times, which had brought a smile to my face. Just hearing his laugh made my day.

"Um, l-Liam? C-can I tell y-you something?" He said, still a bit stuttery

"Yes, of course you can mate" I said.

"Ithinkimstillinlovewithyoulikeiwasbackinyear5" he kinda said, all jumbled up. Because I looked at him a little confused, he repeated it "I-I think I-I'm still I-in love with you like I-I was back I-in year 5" wow.

The Louis Tomlinson has liked -loved- me since we were in year 5? Wow. I was really shocked. Yes, I do love him back, but I wasn't expecting him to love me, especially for the past 5 nearly 6 years of his life.

When I looked down at him, I noticed tears brimming in his ocean blue eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I shouldn't have said anything" he said to me.

"Lou--" I tried to say.

"I-I've made a mistake, d-don't worry" he said again.

"Louis" I tried to say again, but he just kept on talking.

I need to think of a way to tell him that I do like him back, because I truly do. I looked down at his lips and had an idea.

Sorry I havent updated for a few days, it's been because ive been with my friends and I've had family down.

It's exactly one month until I'm away for 10 days and I cannot wait.
