This day was dragging on and I couldn't wait for it to be over. Ever since Cameron and I kissed in the hallway this morning, girls haven't stopped giving me weird looks.
It was finally lunch time and I was heading to my locker to get my lunch and to put my books away when suddenly Samantha, the schools slut, an also Cameron's bitter ex girlfriend approached me
"You know Cameron's only using you, he's pretending that he likes you so he can sleep with you" she smirked as she rested her hands on her hips.
"What are you talking about now Samuel" I asked confused by her words and stupidity
"Okay I know you know it's Samantha, and everyone knows about the bet Cameron has with his friends to try and sleep with you before the school year is up" she smirked
"Okay first, Cameron wouldn't do that he's a good guy and second his friends wouldn't do that because they're also my friends, you need to get a life and stop trying to ruin other peoples" I said as I shut my locker
"Why are you getting all defensive for, you didn't think Cameron actually likes you like that did you" she laughed "aw poor little Ali, so delusional" and with that she walked off in the direction of the cafeteria
I stood silent for a moment, I didn't know what to do or say, it's not true is it, it can't be, but what if it is.
These questions kept circling my mind and I couldn't seem to get rid of them. What if it was all a lie and Cameron didn't like me. I've just wasted my time and energy on some heartless asshole.
But what Samantha said can't be true, Cameron's not like that and also she is his bitter ex, she might just be trying to stir shit and I shouldn't let her
I decided to let it go and go to lunch. If this whole thing was a bet then I would just have to make sure to keep my guard up and to not give in to Cameron, but I still don't know if it is a bet or not so I'm going to have to investigate that first.
I sat down at the table in the cafeteria with lea, Kian, Cameron, Jack j, Jack g, Aaron and Nash.
My whole conversation with Samantha was really bothering me and all of a sudden something came over me,
"Are you just pretending to like me for a bet with the guys, cause if you are Cameron,....I ju...I just don't know what to say" I blurted out in front of the table with each of them looking at me speechless
"What are you talking about Ali, where did this come from" he questioned with a worried expression
"Samantha, she came up to me a few minutes ago and told me that that's what you had told her" I sighed while Looking down at my hands in my lap
"Why would you listen to Samantha and her bullshit" he asked placing his finger under my chin and lifting my head up to look at him
"Because she knows you, you did date her" I said sadly
"Yeah for like a month in sophomore year, Ali I like you and only you and it's not for some stupid bet, why would I or anyone do that" he said with a slight hint of laughter in his voice
"I'm sorry, she just irritates me, I got caught up in our conversation" I said
"Well don't listen to her, every word out of her mouth is complete horse shit" he laughed while continuing to eat his food
I turned back and began to eat my food as did everybody else, completely forgetting about what had happened.
Out of the blue Cameron started laughing without anyone saying or doing anything
"What" I questioned while looking at him
"You like me " he laughed while smiling like an idiot
"I do not, shut up" I said shaking my head and looking towards lea who was smiling at the both of us
"Oh you so do, why else would you have gotten all frustrated and scared when you thought this was all a bet" lea said smirking
"Okay can we just drop it now" I asked
Everyone joined in on the 'fun' and started chanting 'Ali likes Cameron' repeatedly while banging their fists on the lunch table
Cameron was laughing along when suddenly he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulled me down and laid the top half of my body on his lap

"Admit it al" he smirked while leaning in
"There's nothing to admit" I smirked
"I like you Alissa Lawley" he smiled with his faces inches away from mine
"I like you too cameron Dallas" I smiled and placed my lips on his.
We stayed like that for a minute while the rest o the table continued to bang their fists in the table and began to yell in excitement at what they were witnessing.
