Cameron's P.O.V
After school ended I went home and decided to take a nap for an hour or two because I haven't been sleeping much lately with everything that's been on my mind
After a couple of hours had past I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. It was 6:00 so I decided to get up and get ready for the party tonight.
After getting out of the shower and getting dressed, I heard a huge bang sound come from downstairs, I think someone was at my front door
The banging continued and I began to walk down the stairs to answer the door, I was wondering who it was that was making all this noise and why they were acting so crazy.
As I took my last step off the stairs and the front door came into view, my door was pushed down and hit the floor creating a loud noise throughout the house. What I seen next scared the life out of me.
There stood my father who I haven't seen for nearly 7 years. He was drunk and he was screaming and yelling. He had a beer in his hand and he couldn't stand straight. After he held onto the wall for support he looked me straight in the eye and smiled
"Cameron, my boy, I've missed you so much" he slurred as he began making his way towards me
I didn't know what to do or say, I was frozen and couldn't move, I didn't want this man in my house but I felt like I couldn't do anything about it
"Come here and give your father a hug" he said as he stopped walking and stood in the middle of my living room
"Get out, get out of my house"I yelled pointing towards the door
"Don't be like that Cameron, do you not remember how I can be, you show your father some respect" he spat at me angrily
"You are not my father" I spat back and walked towards him pushing him out of the house.
His beer bottle smashed against the door frame and with the piece he had still in his hand, he hit me over the head with it. I immediately fell to the ground yelling in pain. He kneeled down beside me and slapped my cheek
"You weak pathetic little boy thinking you can try and hurt me, you will never be strong" he said angrily into my ear.
"Mr Dallas are you paying attention" I heard being yelled in the distance. My eyes opened and my head shot up, I looked to my right and Ali was in the seat next to me and she was looking at me laughing slightly
"Thank you for waking up Cameron, it's much appreciated" my teacher said as she turned back around to the board and started teaching again
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. I breathed out heavily and looked down at my table. My phone buzzed from inside my pocket, I didn't want to look at it invade it was him again. I finally took it out and seen it was a text from Ali
Ali: are you okay?
Cameron: yeah I just didn't realise I had fallen asleep Mrs.Ryan's yelling kind of freaked me out
The yelling wasn't the thing that freaked me out, it was the dream I just had, what if that happens, what if my finds where we're living, I can't have that happening, he can't be back in our lives
After school had ended I caught up with Ali at her locker. "Hey can I come over" I asked as I stood beside her
"Yeah sure but don't you want to get some clean things for the party later" she asked as she shut her locker
"No it's fine I'll go in this and if I need something I can borrow from Kian" I said wrapping my arm around her shoulder
"Okay, I'll see you in 10" she smiled and pecked my lips before walking off to her car
The reason I wanted to go back to Ali's is so i didn't have to go home alone. I was actually terrified that my dream may become a reality. I know that it sounds a bit stupid but I really don't want to risk seeing my dad.
I pulled up to Ali's house and parked out front. I walked up to the door and rang the bell. Emily answered and jumped into my arms when I seen her. I hugged her tightly and walked her back into the house with her still in my arms. I put her down when we were in the living room
"Ali's in her room" Emily smiled and began watching t.v
I walked upstairs and knocked on Ali's door and stood outside until she told me to go in. She was sitting on her bed watching t.v with her legs crossed. I sat beside her and wrapped my arms around her stomach and put my face on her pillow
"Cameron what are you doing" she asked laughing
"Cuddling my girlfriend" I answered. I sat up and pulled her legs out straight and pulled her down so she was now lying down. I wrapped my arm around her stomach and laid my head on her chest. She wrapped her arm around me and ran her hand through my hair repeatedly.
A few minutes later Ali's phone buzzed "It's Jack, the party isn't on until tomorrow night" she said as she locked her phone agin putting it down
"That's fine, I'm just going to spend the rest of my night cuddling you" I said as I put my head back on the pillow and closed my eyes
