Ali's P.O.V
I couldn't help but wonder the rest of the day if Kian and lea were sneaking off to see each other.
It's weird to think that my best friends and my brother could have feelings for one another and for either of them to not tell me about it.
I mean I'm not in love with the idea, but they're both friends and you can't stop your feelings once they develop. I wonder how long it's been going on, if anything is going on.
I was sitting at home in my pyjamas, watching television. Kian had left about an hour ago and I told myself I'd question him on the whole lea thing later.
As I was watching pretty little liars, my mom came into the living room and she seemed to be in a bad mood, busted.
"Ali where's Kian" she asked
"He's in bed, he had a long day at soccer practice and needed to get some rest" I smiled looking at her
"Alright, I'll go check on him, see if he wants something to eat" she said as she walked towards the stairs
"No you can't" I yelled reaching my hand out for her and turning around in my seat smooth Ali
"Why not" she asked with a weird face
"I just checked on him about 10 minutes ago and he's fine, he said he was just going to sleep for the rest of the night" I smiled walking over to her
"Alright, but you need to calm down sweetie" she smiled as she walked in the yard where Emily was playing.
A few hours passed and my mom was putting Emily to bed when I heard a loud thump, I knew it must of been Kian coming in through the window
I ran upstairs and made my way towards Kian's bedroom.
"Will you shut up, moms upstairs" I whisper yelled
"Sorry" he replied while sitting down.
Suddenly my mom burst through the door "what's going on in here, Kian why are you dressed, I thought you were sleeping for the night" she questioned while holding the door handle
"Yeah I was but I woke up and got dressed because I was going to go downstairs and get down food" he replied
"You put in a jacket to go downstairs" she questioned. I began to wonder if she was going to believe him, he better come up with something good
"Yeah I'm a bit cold, I think I'm coming down with something" he coughed while pulling a sad face
My mom walked over to him and placed her hand on his forehead "you feel fine" she said
"Well yeah but I don't think it's serious yet" he said as he coughed multiple times. I stood there shaking my head and rolling my eyes at his stupidity.
"Alright well get something to eat and get some rest, the last thing we need is you to get sick" she said as she walked out of his room.
Kian made his way downstairs and I followed him. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle and a banana.
"Where were you" I questioned with my arms crossed
"On a date" he said back
"Yeah I know that, but with who" I asked
"That doesn't matter" he said as he began to walk away
"We're you on a date with lea" I sort of yelled
"Shut up, mom is in the house and no why would I be on a date with lea" he asked peeling the banana.
"Because I had to cover for her today and I just thought it was weird that you both were sneaking out in the same day" I said
"Well I haven't seen lea since lunch today, alright" he said walking back upstairs.
~ next morning
After doing my usual morning routine I headed to school. I walked in and grabbed books from my locker and set out to find lea, and ask her about where she was last night.
I quickly found her standing with Kian at her locker, if that isn't suspicious I don't k is what is
"Hey lea can I talk to you for a minute in private" I asked
"Yeah sure what's up" she asked smiling. Kian stood beside us for a minute until I shot him a look as if to say go away
"Where were you last night, you never told me why you had to sneak out" I asked
"Oh it was nothing, I just needed to get out of the house it's driving me crazy being there all the time" she shrugged
"Who were you with" I asked
"I was by myself, I went for dinner at the little restaurant on the pier" she smiled
"By yourself, you went to dinner by yourself" I asked not believing her
"Yeah, don't you remember what it was like to be single" she smiled nudging my side.
"Yeah but when I went to dinner, I went with you, why didn't you ask me to sneak out aswell" I asked
"Because who would cover for you, Kian was out aswell" she said
"How did you know he snook out" I asked tying to catch her out
"Oh he told me yesterday after school" she smiled
"Funny" I shook my head a little
"What" she asked confused
"Nothing, don't mind me" I said walking off down the hall.
