Chapter 5

"Come on Syncere before we miss the bus." Nia said waking her up.

Nia and Syncere had to ride the bus, because Arianna would use it to go to work.

"Ughhh okay damn a nigga can't sleep." Syncere said throwing her covers and pillows off the bed.

"Girl shut up its 12 in the afternoon." Nia said walking into the closet.

"Y'all I'm bout to go call me when y'all get there." Arianna said grabbing the keys and going to work.

"Ari you know I get out before Nia right?" Syncere said.

"Oh yeah yeah." Arianna said shaking her head.

"This girl had such a good night yesterday she forgot everything." Nia said laughing.

"Whateva bye y'all." Arianna said walking out.

"Damn its hot ass hell outside." Nia said as we stood at the bus stop.

"Awww fuck!" Syncere said folding her arms causing Nia to turn around.

Like before Syncere always noticed Deondre riding in the car while she was at the bus stop.

"Girl why you fronting you know you like him and ain't it a good thing we don't have to stand waiting for this bus." Nia said waving.

"Wassup yall." Deondre said stopping his car by the curb.

"Hey! Nia said excited.

"Hi." Syncere said looking away.

"Y'all need a ride?" He ask staring at Syncere.

"No were good." Syncere hurried up and said before Nia said anything.

"Well I guess yo ass gonna be standing out here by yo self." Nia said getting in the front seat.

Syncere rolled her eyes as she got her stuff n got in the back seat.

"Oh my gosh what are we listening to?" Nia said looking at the radio like it could talk.

"Y'all don't like this." Deondre said laughing.

"Hell nahh." Nia said.

"Play some Chris Brown." Nia said.

"Fuck no play some Kodak black." Syncere said butting in.

"Yess play baby girl by Kodak black." Nia said as she turned up the radio.

"Your the chosen oneeeee, you caught my eye had to make you minesss........" Nia and Syncere sang along till they got to their destination.

"Thanks for the ride." Syncere said as she got out the car.

"No problem, you need a ride back?" Deondre asked.

"No I got a ride." Syncere said partly lying.

"The bus is not having a ride, Deondre you can come get her at 3." Nia said.

"Ight." Deondre said laughing.

Nia P.O.V

I was walking through the hallway going to class when I spotted someone familiar. "Devin." Devin was my ex and I had deep feelings for him, until I found out he was cheating on me with my cousin.

"Nia!" Devin said walking closer to me.

"Long time no see." I said growing more nervous.

"You missed me." He said going straight to the point.
