"What?" I demanded-as soon as he was out of the rooms- my voice pitching through octaves. Monique, Naomi and Connor's shared expressions of total schock."Garret you can't be serious"
"Actually I am, he has potenital"
"Potential? He's way to old to start training. I was seven when I came here, still that's old to come here"
"Rylie. Your first kill was at seven, some never make their first kills until their your age. We bring chilredn here who have potential. You were an execption yourself, you killed someone who wasn't a threat to our country."
"No. But he was a threat to me," I shouted "I didn't mean to kill him, but it happened"
"Rylie, either leave this matter alone, or leave the college" thats was something i didn't want to argue, this place meant so much to me, this job meant so much to me.
I gritted my teeth together, and left silently.
Drew was standing by Alanah's desk- whom was busy typing away on her computer.
"See you in the halls eh?" he said.
I stopped, glared at him and spat through my teeth, "They only way your leaving this place, is in a body bag...and I'll make sure of that." I continued to walk, not staying long enough to see his reaction.
"Rylie!" I turned around to see Connor, running up the hall-way to wards me.
His dark hair fell over his blue eyes, that set off his pale skin. I never realize, he was fairly good looking- which was probably an understatment. But for the past ten years I didn't really take much notice.
He was my best friend, when I first came here, he was the only one who didn't think of me as a hell-bent kill mahcine.
"Hey?" he said.
I didn't say anything.
"You kind of left quickly I didn't get to say to you, I know what you mean. I can see where your coming from, an outsider? I understand how weird it is, in Slay college's history this have never happened."
"Yeah, I know. But I can't help but think...there's something weird about him- He's seems okay with everything, I mean, who is he? What do we know about him? What about his parents, I mean what is he going to say to them. My parents think that I'm at an all girls boarding school."
"I agree, it does seem strange"
"How can he be okay with the idea of killing people"
"You are"
"But I choose this along time ago, it just doesn't seem right to me"
There is something not right about Drew, I don't know who he is, but I will.
Whatever he's hiding I'll find out.
