Hayley's P.O.V

i knew it would be awkward with sam and mercedes and i wanted to go with her to save her from it but i knew i couldnt, this was their time.

"do you think they'll be ok?"

i turned and saw jack smiling at me, i smiled and nodded

"they'll be fine... i hope"

he chuckled and sat down on the stage next to me, everyone was still rushing about but i just leant my head on his shoulder

"as long as sam doesnt try anything then they'll be great"

he laughed and nodded

"i think hes too scared to now he knows a bit more about her"

i laughed and looked up at him

"what about the fact that shes a kick-boxer that will threaten any guy that ever goes out with one of us and punched niall in the face by accident just because she heard sophia scream?"

jack laughed and nodded

"thats it"

we both laughed for ages and eventually bashed shoulders, trying to push each other over

"is she actually going out with a guy called jamie or was that just to stay away from sam?"

i stared at him confused

"she has the biggest crush on your brother, literally ask any of the girls but when we sang for simon and he signed us mercedes couldnt have been happier to see sam at the back cheering her on, then when she sang his song? they both sang the important lines staring into each others eyes, and then lets not bring up the events that took place at the party"

he nodded and sighed

"true but i was just wondering, why wont she go with sam if she likes him that much?"

i looked away knowing that i had promised mercedes i wouldnt tell anyone what happened with dan and barney, jack noticed this and looped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer

"its ok, you dont have to tell me"

i looked up at him

"i would love to but i did promise and im not ready to die"

he laughed and i joined in, he stood up and offered me his hand, i accepted it and he pulled me up

"i still think we should try and get them together"

i nodded

"i agree, i dont like jamie, i used to sit next to him in english, hes a proper pain"

he laughed and nodded

"thats it, hayley do you promise to help me get sam and mercedes together as a couple and not give up until their kissing like they did at the party?"

i laughed and nodded

"i do, and do you jack promise to help me get sam and mercedes together as a couple and not give up until their kissing like they did at the party?"

he nodded and we gave each other a high-five and a quick hug

"im totally going to be cupid"

jack pushed me away looking hurt
