The handle to the mysterious door was so old and rusted, it could barely budge.

"Damn." Mabel sighs, looking down disappointed.

The excitement leaves their heads and they back up.

"That was great, what an adventure, let's go." Dipper points, turning around.

You inhale, not taking a no for an answer, and you kick the door with all the might you had, your shoe, and your body flying through the door, as if it were sucking you in through a void.

"Y/N!" Mabel yells, reaching her hand out towards you.

You found yourself on the other side, your head pounding from the small entrance. It was as if you had jumped through a wormhole, ending up in a dark room, much too dark to see anything.

Dipper and Mabel soon joined you. Dipper held his stomach, while Mabel was grinning from ear to ear.

  "That was awesome!" Mabel laughed.

"Aw, I think I'm gonna puke." Dipper groaned, falling to his knees.

"Suck it up looser." You chuckle, ruffling his hair and switching on your flashlight.

But, strangely, it failed to work, as did the other lights.

You groaned and looked up, squinting to try and see if anything was visible.

Just pitch blackness.

"So...we don't have a light then." Dipper says, standing up.

You bite your lip and look up.

"Wait! My star!" You grin, reaching into your pocket.

  "Huh?" Mabel asks, confused.

You pull out the small star and let it levitate out of your hand, hovering over your heads. You clap, it glowing brightly, lighting up a small portion of the room.

"Here's a switch!" Mabel grins, flipping it.

  "Mabel no-!"

The lights turned on, revealing something you least expected to see.

An old fashioned torture chamber.

You gasp covering your mouth, Dipper screaming along with Mabel. Wilted bodies lay in the torture devices, flesh hanging and sagging, eyes dropping from their sockets, tongues dropping out of their mouths, their lips already decayed, bone and teeth jutting out.

Bones visible, flesh barely holding on. Horrified expressions frozen into the corpses, rotting in their places, rusted spikes and nails in their bodies. Heaps of decaying humans in each corner, the smell strong enough to make you vomit.

"Why is this under your basement." Mabel asks, wiping tears that fell, covering her mouth and taking a step back.

"You're asking me?" You ask, turning towards her, surprised she would even think you had a clue what was going on.

"Yes, she is! Did you have anything to do with this? Maybe your sister did? Huh? Are you guys in some cult? Are you with Bill? Tell us, Y/N!" Dipper yells, grabbing Mabels arm.

You take a step back, taken back by his outburst.

"Guys? What's wrong with you? Do you really think I did this? I just moved here, how on earth could i have done this!" You ask, tears trailing down your face.

They look at each other, unsure.

"Sorry. It's just that, in Gravity Falls, it's hard to trust anyone." Dipper frowns, looking down.

You nod, looking down.

"Where did these come from, how did they even get here?" Mabel asks, hiding behind her brother.

"It looks like most of these are from the Elizabethan era. Some even from the Victorian era...but I've never seen devices like these before. These look self-invented." You mumble, looking around, your stomach flipping at every wilted body in sight.

They seemed to ignore the fact you knew exactly what era's they were from, and covered their noses.

"Can we leave? I don't like this place." Mabel whines.

  "Yeah...let's go...." You nod.

You all walk to the door, switching off the light and jumping through the portal of a door.

You guys shoot out of the door, landing on one another, panting, and trembling with fear.

"I did not expect that under my house." You smile weakly, standing up and trying not to seem scared.

"You learn new things every day." Dipper shrugs, his voice cracking.

You nod slowly, taking a deep breath, leaning against the door to keep you from falling.

You all laugh at once and collapse, your minds going black.

.

.

You felt a cold substance on your forehead and you gasp, sitting up, your head spinning, your eyesight blurry.

"Well look who's awake." You hear Gracie chuckle.

You look at her and smile softly, hugging her.

  "Welcome home." You chuckle.

She smiles.

"I had a crazy nightmare!" You look at her.

She nods, looking at the other end of the bed.

"You're friends here seem to be waking up now."

You turn and see Mabel and Dipper slowly sitting up.

  "What happened?" Mabel asks.

"I came home from work and found you three passed out in front of the stairs. I thought you guy's might of fell down them so i checked for bruises, but there weren't any, so i brought you all up here." She smiles, handing wet towelettes to them.

They thank her and lay in on their forehead.

"It wasn't a dream was it?" You groan.

They turn to you with disappointing looks on their faces.

"We should get going now." Dipper yawns, standing up.

"You sure? I could make dinner if you guys want." Gracie smiles.

"No...it's okay. We've already caused you enough trouble. Besides, Stan ordered pizza yesterday and we have two boxes left." Mabel smiles, hugging Gracie.

"Alright then. Why don't you walk them home, Y/N?" Gracie smiles.

You nod turning.

"No, it's alright. She won't have anyone to walk home with. Besides, it's way too dark to walk alone. We'll be fine. Thank you for letting us stay over and helping us." Dipper smiles.

She nods and they walk down the stairs. Gracie walks them out while you stay in your bed, staring at the wall.

"My star!" You gasp, reaching in your pocket for the star you had been given.

It wasn't there. You gasp and Gracie walks in.

"You going to bed? Want me to close your door?" She asks, smiling softly.

"Yes please." You nod, looking down.

She leaves, closing the door. You hear a happy chirping sound and you're greeted by the small Octopus, known as-

"Sir Squishy Face!" You giggle, smiling wide as he lay on your lap.

You pet him, his tentacles wrapping around your fingers. You smile softly and lay down, beside it, closing your eyes.

It was just a dream, right?
