Author's note: Northstar. He is officially part of this story. Yay :D I might possibly make him straight. Nah, to hell with that, he's too awesome to be straight.

And don't pay attention to Psylocke's completely wrong storyline. I want to use the character, not the story.

I still can't get over Astonishing's Hank. I'm sorry.

Oh, Quicksilver's still evil. I'm allowed to screw up timelines.

--------------------------------

This has to be the most awkward thing I have ever experienced. Magneto and the gang are standing there, opposite us, and we're not doing anything! Just standing here, waiting for someone to make the first move. I sigh. No, wait, if I persuade one of Magneto's gang to go first... but that's not possible, as there's no way they're gonna hear me. That's helpful.

Maybe you can make them do it telepathically. I mean, your dad is Professor X, the best telepath the world has ever seen. shouldn't you technically be telepathic too? asks Roxanne.

Hmm? No, I don't know. I don't think it works like that, I reply.

Aw, come on. Have a go. It'd be funny.

It's not gonna work.

You don't know that. Please, try it. If it doesn't work, you can blame me.

I will blame you, because it's not going to work, anyway.

Just do it. For me. You know you want to.

I sigh and grit my teeth. I should just murder that bitch with her stupid cryptic clues and confusing hints.

I am not a bitch. And I don't give you cryptic clues, I'm being as straightforward as possible, Roxanne retorts angrily.

No, you're not. If there's something you want to say, say it, I reply.

Roxanne shrugs, and I don't get a reply.

"Sheesh," I mutter.

Bobby grins. "Girl trouble?"

He seriously should consider getting himself checked out. He must be psychic. Unless it's really obvious.

"No." I reply.

Bobby raises his eyebrows at me.

"How can you tell?" I sigh.

"I can tell by the way you keep looking at her," says Bobby. "You've got to be having a telepathic conversation."

"We were. But it wasn't about that kind of thing," I shrug.

"Are you sure?" Bobby asks smugly.

"Yeah, I am."

Bobby grins. Of course he doesn't believe me.

"Oh, fine, I'll tell you," I start.

But Bobby doesn't get to hear what I have to say, as Lorelei starts singing.

"Crap," mutters Roxanne.

All the guys start falling asleep, which is probably what Lorelei was aiming for. Scott, John, Hank... everyone but the girls start dropping to the ground, unconscious. The odd thing is that I'm not affected. Sure, I'm grinning like a madman and I can't think straight, but I'm still standing.

Hehe. I'm still standing. Get it? I don't actually like Elton John, but-

"Ricky!" shouts Roxanne.
