DISCLAIMER:
I make no claims of speaking on behalf of the Neurodiverse. Amber McBride's Asperger's journey is based solely upon my experience.
The information in American Bruja about Native American cultural practices as relates to the spirit world are entirely imagined on the part of the author. I do not write about sacred practices entrusted to me by my mentors.
The selling of ceremony is an abhorrent practice and the author has never, or ever will write about any actual sacred Native American tradition.
Additionally, the Celtic and Voudo rituals and spells represent publicly available information, there for anyone willing to take the time and study. Likewise, anything written about Brujeria and Curanderismo comes from published sources (and these sources are cited in the relevant chapters). As a Taoist, I approach each practice with the greatest respect and the understanding many roads lead to Creator.
If you are interested in learning more about Brigid, see "Brigid: History, Mystery, and Magick of the Celtic Goddess" by Courtney Weber.
As a psychologist and community-based activist, I welcome questions from sojourners and allies.
