Camila had just fell into a deep sleep when she heard someone whispering her name. She tried to ignore it but she knew she couldn't. She looked around the hotel room and her eyes landed on a black silhouette standing outside on the balcony. HER balcony.
"Who's there?" Camila asked nervously. She carefully opened the balcony door and attempted to shield herself in case the person tried to harm her.
"Relax, I'm not going to hurt you, " the voice said. Camila's eyes trailed up the person's black suited body until she met their eyes. "Lauren!?" Camila asked in disbelief. "What are you doing here? It's," Camila rubbed her eyes and looked at her watch, "4:00 in the morning."
"Yes, I know, not the best timing and considering we only met today, what I'm about to ask might come as a shock." Camila raised her eyebrows, urging Lauren to continue.
"Look, I'll make it simple. I did some sh*t that I shouldn't have done and now I have no where to sleep. If you could just let me use the couch or the floor or even the bathtub, I'll be gone before you even wake up."
Camila thought about it for a while before coming to a conclusion. "Okay, you can stay here, but I can't possibly let you sleep in the bathtub or on the floor or that hard couch. The bed's massive and I don't mind sharing," Camila smiled at Lauren innocently.
"Are you sure?" Lauren asked.
"Positive," Camila replied. "And here," Camila said throwing Lauren an old shirt and a pair of short shorts, "you can't possibly be comfortable in those clothes."
"Wow, thank you so much Camila, I really appreciate this," Lauren said thankfully.
"Hey, don't worry about it. It's not like your a murderer or a zombie or an evil witch," Camila told her.
Lauren laughed and went into the bathroom to get changed.
When she came out again, Camila looked Lauren up and down, mesmerised. She shook her head and looked away. It's 4:30 in the morning, you're just tired, Camila told herself. Lauren smirked at Camila and climbed under the thick, fluffy white sheets.
"Goodnight I guess," she said to Camila.
Camila nodded and rolled over so her back was facing Lauren. Lauren rested her arm on Camila's hip and quickly drifted off to sleep, meanwhile Camila kept getting distracted by the fact that she was sharing a bed with a pretty, green eyed girl, who's arm was on her waist.
Getting to sleep may be harder than Camila had planned.
