"I've looked a long time to find you.
I drifted through the universe,
Just to lay beside you.
Anywhere you want me to take you, I'll go.
But there's things about me that you just don't know."

"Padawan Anakin Skywalker, do you agree to uphold the Jedi Order and follow the Jedi Code?" Master Yoda spoke.
Anakin knelt before Yoda, his head lowered.
A circle of Jedi Masters stood around in full robes, the lights were out.
"I do." Anakin agreed.
"Then rise, as a Jedi Knight." Yoda's brilliant green lightsaber sliced through Anakin's Padawan braid, and he became a Knight.
The acrid smell of burnt hair filled the room.
Obi-Wan saw every reason that he shouldn't have a relationship with Anakin disappear as the braid was sheared off.
It had been so hard to deny his attraction to Anakin for so long.
Why shouldn't he?
After all, Obi-Wan surely wouldn't get too attached.
And he was a Knight now, so it wasn't like having a relationship with his Padawan.Anakin was beaming. He had achieved his goal of become a Jedi Knight.
As the two Knights left the Temple, Anakin caught up to Obi-Wan.
"Hello, Jedi Knight Skywalker." Obi-Wan smiled.
"Don't call me that Master, it's too formal."
"I'm not your master anymore Anakin. I believe..." Obi-Wan was speaking softly now, laying his hand on Anakin's shoulder, his voice full of pride and genuine love for his apprentice, "that you should get used to calling me Obi-Wan."
Anakin's eyes met Obi-Wan's.
"I think you should get used to calling me your boyfriend." Anakin suggested with a smirk.Anakin had no chill.
"Let's just take it slow..." The older man whispered.
Anakin's face fell slightly, but he did his best to shrug it off.
"Dinner at Dex's tonight? I'm buying." Obi-Wan offered.
Anakin perked up.
"It's a date then." he said quickly.
Obi-Wan just smiled and rolled his eyes.
Anakin was just too cute sometimes.
"Whatever you say Anakin."
With that, the two Jedi went their separate ways.Anakin was nervous.
It was a real date.
With someone he really liked, and had liked for a long time.
At least he knew what he would be wearing.
What if Obi-Wan's feelings had changed?
That thought of losing Obi-Wan turned Anakin's blood to ice.
No.
He couldn't.
He wouldn't let that happen.Obi-Wan, too, was nervous.
Anakin was his best friend, but hadn't been anything more until recently.
He had never really been with another man before.
Frankly he hadn't been with many people in general, regardless of gender.
Jedi do not often have time for relationships, and the code forbade it.
Obi-Wan shook these thoughts off.
Now wasn't the time to question his sexuality.
He went quietly about his daily activities, and the hours slowly ticked away.Anakin was restless. He wandered about, accepting congratulations from Jedi across the Temple.
Finally, it was time for their first official "date"
They met at their apartment.
"This is so weird. We live together." Anakin said.
Obi-Wan was confused by what Anakin had said.
"Uh...We have for the past like 13 years?" Obi-Wan said, with a raised eyebrow.
"But it's different now." Anakin said, "You won't make me move out will you Master?" his lip stuck out in a pout.
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes.
"I won't make you do anything." he sighed.
"but the Council might."
"You're on the Council!" Anakin exclaimed.
Obi-Wan's eyes met Anakin's.
"I'm not going to manipulate the Jedi Council for this." Obi-Wan spoke in a serious tone.
"I'm not even sure what this is." he gestured to the two of them, standing in the hallway.
Anakin frowned.
Why wouldn't his former master admit that what they had was something special?
"What do you want it to be then?" Anakin asked as they walked down the Coruscant streets towards Dex's diner.
Kenobi shrugged.
"I'm not sure yet."They arrived at Dex's diner. Dex, a good friend of Obi-Wan's, greeted them with a warm smile and large hugs.
They had a lovely dinner together, Anakin and Obi-Wan, laughing and joking like the good friends they were.
Obi-Wan couldn't take his eyes off of Anakin's face, mesmerized by his flawless beauty.
Anakin could break so many hearts if he wanted too.
Obi-Wan realized then that Anakin was attempting to talk to him, and he had zoned out.
Anakin smiled at his former Master.
"Something distracting you, Master?" Anakin said, grinning.
"Just the very handsome Jedi sitting across from me." Obi-Wan said, his voice hushed.
Anakin reached across the table and touched Obi-Wan's hand, a glowing smile on his face.
The Force crackled around them at the slightest touch.
As they walked back to their shared quarters, Anakin stopped Obi-Wan.
"I had fun tonight. It was worth the wait."
With that, Anakin leaned in and kissed Obi-Wan softly on the lips.
Obi-Wan's heart was pounding.
Anakin pulled away, a soft smile on his face.
Obi-Wan closed the door to their apartment, and his lips crashed into Anakin's again.
Their lips melted together into one, their tongues dancing.
Anakin pulled Obi-Wan closer, their bodies touching.
Obi-Wan couldn't get enough of Anakin.
His lips, his face, his body.
But also his soul.
Obi-Wan connected to Anakin in a way that he had never felt before.
It felt like Anakin filled a hole in Obi-Wan's heart that he didn't even know he had.
Anakin's heart was racing as their lips collided.
Then, Obi-Wan was tugging anxiously at Anakin's robe, and he was shrugging it off. They walked backwards towards the couch, neither wanting to sever their contact.
Finally, Anakin pulled away, his heart pounding, breathless, a thin sheen of sweat covered his shirtless body.
"So much for taking it slow, huh?" Anakin said, and their lips met again.Crappy chapter sorry it will get better I promise!!!
