David "Hesh" Walker × Reader (It's Okay To Cry)

You were worried about Hesh ever since he witnessed his father's death. He hasn't even cried once since you guys got away from Rorke and back to base.

I mean, seeing your father get shot right in front of your eyes, your bound to cry one time over that.

You were looking for Hesh when you ran into his little brother, Logan.

His hair was a mess and his eyes were red and puffy. He had been crying. You pulled him into a hug to comfort him.

Logan hugged you back. He always thought of you as a big sister and often teased you about your feelings for his big brother, Hesh.

You guys stood there for awhile until Logan broke away, wiping the tears that had fallen. You gave him a sad, small smile knowing what he feels.

"Do you know where Hesh is Logan? I haven't seen him since we came back." You asked Logan.

"I seen him go into his room a few minutes ago." Logan said, quietly.

"Thanks." You said.

You gave him one last hug before you made your jounery to Hesh's room.

You silently walked up to the door that separated you from him. You stepped closer to the door and pressed your ear to the door hoping to hear some form of him crying, but instead you heard complete silence.

You stepped back and knocked on the door twice.

"Who is it?" You heard him ask. You thought you heard his voice crack, but that was probably your imagination.

"It's me (Y/N)." You said.

On the other side of the door, Hesh felt his heart beat a little faster. He has had feelings for you for quite some time, but pushed them back.

He got up from where he was sitting on his bed and made his way over to the door. He opened it and his breath got caught in his throat.

Your (h/c) hair was in a messy ponytail, you had dark circles under your eyes, and your eyes lost it's usual light it had in them. Hesh still found you breathtaking.

"Can I come in?" You asked.

Without saying a word, Hesh stepped aside so you could come in. You walked in and sat down on his bed. You heard Hesh close the door and sit down beside you.

You looked around his room and realized it was dark, except for the lamp that was turned on beside the bed.

Your gaze settled on Hesh after you were done observing his room, to already see that he was already looking at you.

You blushed a little, but didn't look down. You took in his appearance. His hair was a little messy and if you looked close enough you could've sworn there were tears in his eyes.

It only took four words for him to break down.

"It's okay to cry." You said.

Hesh let out a sob and wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in the crook of you neck. You wrapped your arms around him and rubbed his back to comfort him. You felt his tears soak through your shirt.

About ten minutes later, Hesh let go of you and wiped away his remaining tears away.

"I'm sorry." Hesh said, sounding like he was about to cry again.

"There's nothing to be sorry about Hesh." You said.

Hesh looked at you and seen you smile at him. Hesh didn't think about the next move he made.

You felt warm and salty lips on yours. Your eyes widened in shock. Was Hesh kissing you!?! You confirmed that, yes, Hesh was kissing you. You felt him start to pull away, but before he could pull away, you wrapped your arms around his neck and brought him closer.

Hesh licked your bottom lip asking for entrance and you let him in. You moaned in the kiss and brought Hesh closer to you. You guys kept kissing each until both of you had to pull apart for air.

Both your lips were red and swollen. Your pupils were blown wide from the heated kiss.

"I love you, (Y/N)." Hesh said.

You smiled at him.

"I love you too, David." You said.

Hesh's eyes widened slightly at the use of his first name, but he smiled back.

You kissed him again, but this time it was slow and full of love.
