'Oh my gosh!' Alya squealed beside me. She was probably on cloud nine right now, maybe even beyond. 'This Ladybug and Chat Noir festival has some great content for the Ladyblog,' I watched her as she frantically snapped photo after photo of all of the merchandise and stalls supporting the two famous superheroes. Her mood could not have been happier, I'm pretty sure she pressed her "take photo" button just as much as when I play Ultimate Mecha Strike 3. And that's saying something.

I felt my excited best friend nudge me in the shoulder, a huge grin on her face. 'Isn't it such a great opportunity for fellow Ladyblog fans, Mari?' She asked.

'Uh...sure...I guess,' I smiled with as much effort as possible. Hanging out with Alya was nice and all, but when she got into one of her blog moods, it was very difficult to get her out of it so she could pay attention to you.

Unfortunately, Alya, being my number one friend and also that intuitive blogger, she read through my half-hearted answer like a book; like she always does. I watched her laugh, an evil little smirk hanging on her features. 'And the fact that Adrien agreed to come with Nino for this isn't such a bad opportunity either, hmm?' She playfully teased.

That all too familiar heat that swam up my chin to my forehead quickly rose once more at the mention of Adrien. Dammit why'd he have to be so cute and funny and cute and witty and cute and friendly and CUTE! Argh...he was just perfection on a canva...crap, Alya was looking at me expectantly. 'I u-uhm...shh Alya please!' I turned my head to see Adrien walking beside Nino behind, heavily distracted in a conversation. Returning to Alya, I whispered, 'C-can you please be a little more quiet? I don't want him to-'

'OH MY GOSH LOOK AT THOSE!' Alya shouted halfway through my talk with her. She was pointing like an adorable child high on sweets, her finger aimed particularly at a stall with a Ladybug cosplayer. She appeared to be selling costumes of Chat Noir and Ladybug.

Before I could even ask Alya if she had been paying attention to what I was telling her beforehand, she had already started to sprint off to the stall that was giving her spotted eyes. 'Alya wait up!' I shouted, not wanting to be left alone with Nino and, more importantly, Adrien.

She hadn't listened to a word I was saying. 'I swear, Alya...' I muttered under my breath, not noticing my clentched fists as I half-stomped over to her with the boys trailing behind me.

'I'll take two Ladybugs and two Chat Noirs please,' I barely heard her say as I got closer to her. The cosplayer running the stall smiled and handed her a large bag which obviously contained her purchases. 'Thank you!' Alya half sung and spun around to face me. 'Look girl! I bought some Chat Noir and Ladybug masks. Isn't it neat?'

I nodded, but was also a little confused as to why she bought more than one of each. 'Hey Alya, why so many costumes? You know you really didn't need to buy so many...'

'NONSENSE!' I heard her shout happily. I didn't see her however, because something smacked me right on the top half of my face. The feeling was familiar, but I guess it was just the odd leftover sting from Alya slapping me on my face.

With my eyes still shut, I heard my best friend continue talking, 'No silly! I didn't just buy them for myself! I got you and me each a Ladybug costume and I got Adrien and Nino a Chat Noir costume.' She said cheerfully, not even mentioning an apology for slapping me. Oh well...she's a best friend.

Somewhere to the right of where I heard Alya's voice, I heard an angel's voice. Well...A-Adrien's voice anyway. He laughed a little...nervously? 'Hehe,' I heard him say. 'Thanks Alya, but I'd rather not wear it right now...'

'Oh come on, Adrien. Don't be so...' at all of my friends' silence, I opened my eyes to find them all gawking at me, Adrien muttering and stumbling on my name with red adorning his face like I was intimidating him or something.

'W-What?' I asked nervously. Crap, something was wrong with me and my friends weren't speaking at all, only staring at me like I had suddenly grown three heads.

'Uhh...g-girl you...you look...' she dropped her phone and didn't even bother to catch it, something she'd never let herself do. 'W-Why do you...' I stood there desperate to hear a full sentence and hopefully the answer to what was wrong. 'Why do you look EXACTLY LIKE LADYBUG?!?!'
