As Angle and Maddie run on the rusty cars. They see the City. The remainings of New York City after a nuculer bomb hit it. All they know is a gang called The Saviors will give you food if you pay them with Phones and computers. But if you get on there bad side. You are in trouble.
" Sissy there scary," said Maddie as she tugged her jacket.
" Just dont say anything," whispered Angle. Angle turned around and saw Conner. With his dirty blonde hair and his brown-green eyes.
"Hi Conner,"said Maddie as she ran up to him to give him a hug. He gave Maddie a hug and started to walk over to Angle.
"Hey are you get some food?" asked Conner.
"Yeah," said Angle nerves. Angle asked, "Can you watch Maddie till I get back with the food."
Conner replied," Sure thing." Angle started to walk over to the line of people. After whating for a hour she was called up.
"Give me your list ," said the young man.Angle gave him the list.
1 loaf of bread
1 pint of water
He looked at it and said,"That will be a phone."
"Here you go,"said Angle.As she grabs the bag. The young man grabed her wrist ferm.
"
Are you alone," He asked.
" Just me and my sister," Angle replied trying to have him let go.
"That means you need a man to take care of you," he said as he was learning over to kiss her.
"I can take care of my self," Angle said as she punched him in the face.He rubed his cheek. He grabed her again and said with his fist in the air," You are such a naive girl."As he was about to punch Angle.He felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Conner. Conner said,"Get your hands off of her!" Conner punched him in the face. The young man fell to the ground.His face all bloody.Conner grabed Angles hand and whispered," run!"
Angle grabed the phone, the bag of goods and Maddies hand. All three of them ran for miles.
